We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for the restoration of your first love. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer according to Rev 2:4 and Rev 2:5.
We have been praying that the Father would pour out extra grace upon you to pray in the Holy Spirit and to study His Word, to worship, and to put away distractions, and to choose the better part as Mary did as she sat at the feet of Jesus in Luke 10:42. We have asked the Lord to help you love Him with all your heart and soul and mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself according to Mk 12:30-31, to keep yourself in the love of God and to be edified as you pray in the Holy Spirit according to Jude 1:20, and to pursue love and desire spiritual gifts especially that you may prophesy to edify the church according to 1 Cor 14:1. We have also prayed that you would be filled with power from on high according to Acts 1:8 and walk in holiness and bear the fruit of the Spirit according to Gal 5:22, and that you would be kept from distraction and sin and delivered from the evil one according to Matt 6:13 as you seek to make disciples according to Matt 28:19.
We pray that the Lord would light again the fire of your first love and give you discipline and grace to dig in deeply into His Word and to do the things you did at first.
