We lift this precious family before the throne of grace, interceding with hearts full of compassion and faith in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your presence and the assurance of salvation. We declare that no other name can save or heal—only the name of Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and infirmities on the cross. We stand on Your Word, which tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5), and *"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we first lift up this husband and father, who is battling the torment of schizophrenia. Lord, we rebuke the spirits of confusion, fear, and torment that have taken hold of his mind, for Your Word declares, *"The Spirit of the Lord is not of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control. We pray for complete healing and restoration of his mind, that he may come to know You as his Lord and Savior. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him to repentance and faith in Christ. May he experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, which guards the hearts and minds of those who trust in You (Philippians 4:7). We declare that the night seasons of torment will cease, and the light of Your truth will break through the darkness.
Father, we also lift up this oldest son, who is struggling with discouragement and anger due to unemployment. Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for him that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give him favor in the eyes of potential employers and grant him the strength to persevere in faith. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his job but by his identity in Christ. Your Word tells us, *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Fill him with hope and joy as he waits on You, and let him cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). May he find his peace and purpose in You alone.
We also stand in the gap for this dear wife and mother, who is carrying the weight of her family’s struggles. Lord, we pray that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Shield her from jealousy, bitterness, and discouragement, and fill her with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen her faith as she trusts in You, and let her home be a sanctuary of Your love, grace, and peace. We declare that broken relationships within this family will be restored, for You are the God who heals and reconciles. Your Word says, *"Bear with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgive each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive"* (Colossians 3:13). May forgiveness and unity flow in this home like a river of life.
Lord, we also pray for the entire family to be drawn closer to You. Let them experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may their home be filled with the fruit of Your Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We declare that this family will not be destroyed by the enemy’s schemes, for You have promised, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord"* (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We trust that You are working all things together for the good of this family, for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this family will rise above their circumstances and become a testimony of Your healing, restoration, and grace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
