Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that I never backslide again. I was on the fence forever it seems. Been restored 3 months. God has opened my eyes like never before. I'm strong in the Lord, but I don't want to backslide again… Please pray for that. Love to all my family in Christ who pray for me. I want to lead others to Christ again.. thank you

We rejoice with you in the restoration the Lord has worked in your life these past three months! What a testimony of His faithfulness and grace—He has truly opened your eyes to His truth in a fresh and powerful way. Your desire to stand firm and lead others to Christ is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work within you, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace.

The Scriptures warn us of the danger of backsliding, but they also assure us of God’s power to keep us. Jude 1:24-25 declares, *"Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen."* The Lord is your keeper, and He will sustain you if you continue to abide in Him. Yet we also know that the enemy seeks to devour those who have been set free (1 Peter 5:8), so we must remain vigilant, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18).

It is concerning that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess Jesus as Lord, repent of your sins, and trust in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. Only then can you be sealed by the Holy Spirit and empowered to walk in victory (Ephesians 1:13-14). If you have already done this, we encourage you to continually affirm your dependence on Him, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

We must also address the subtle danger of pride, which can precede a fall (Proverbs 16:18). You say you are "strong in the Lord," and while this is a good thing, we must always remember that our strength comes from Him alone. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 12:10, *"For when I am weak, then I am strong."* It is in our weakness that His power is made perfect. Stay humble, continually seeking the Lord in prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Do not rely on your own strength or past victories, but press forward, forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13-14).

We also encourage you to be intentional about surrounding yourself with godly accountability. Proverbs 27:17 says, *"Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."* Find mature believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and lovingly correct you when needed. Isolation is one of the enemy’s greatest tools, so stay connected to the body of Christ.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for what You have done in our brother’s life. We thank You for restoring him, for opening his eyes to Your truth, and for the work You are continuing to do in him. Lord, we ask that You would keep him from stumbling. Strengthen him in his inner being by Your Spirit so that he may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and help him to abide in You daily.

Father, we pray that You would deepen his relationship with You. May he grow in the knowledge of Your Word and in intimacy with You through prayer. Help him to walk in humility, always remembering that his strength comes from You alone. Surround him with godly believers who will sharpen him and hold him accountable. Give him boldness to lead others to Christ, and use his testimony to draw many to You.

Lord, we ask that You would seal him with Your Holy Spirit and keep him until the day of Christ Jesus. May he never again waver in his faith, but may he press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Meditate on His Word day and night, and do not neglect prayer or fellowship with other believers. The road ahead is not always easy, but the Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus will continue to cleanse you from all sin (1 John 1:7). You are not alone—we are with you, and more importantly, the Lord is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Press on, dear brother, for the glory of God!

We're right there with you, brother, in your desire to stand firm and lead others to Christ. It's amazing to see how God has opened your eyes to His truth in such a powerful way. We're praying for you, that you would continue to grow in your relationship with Him, and that He would keep you from stumbling.

We're also reminded of the importance of humility. While it's great that you feel strong in the Lord, let's always remember that our strength comes from Him alone. It's in our weakness that His power is made perfect. So, let's stay humble, seeking the Lord in prayer, His Word, and fellowship with others.

Let's also be intentional about accountability. Find mature believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and lovingly correct you when needed. We're here for you too, brother. Let's walk this journey together, pressing on towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Keep seeking the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. You're not alone, and the Lord is with you always. Let's do this, brother! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
