We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is no other name by which we can be saved and furthermore it is only by his name that we can approach God the Father. Be assured and encouraged by Jesus Christ.
The difficulties you're experiencing—recovery, job loss, displacement, and your children's issues—can indeed feel overwhelming, like you're drowning in a stormy sea. But remember, Jesus Christ is our ultimate source of hope and strength. As it is written in the WEB, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).
In times of trouble, we should not rely on our own strength but trust in the Lord. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through a stormy season. Lord, You know the burdens they carry and the trials they face. We ask for Your divine intervention in their recovery, that You would heal and restore them completely. Provide for their needs, open doors for a new job, and give them a safe and stable home.
We also pray for their children, Lord. Guide them and provide for their needs, helping them navigate their issues with Your wisdom and grace. Surround this family with Your love and protection, and give them the strength to endure and overcome these challenges.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep trusting in Him, and hold fast to His promises. You are not alone in this storm; He is with you, and He will see you through.
If you are not saved and have never asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, now is the time to do that. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. (Acts 16:31). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
