We join you in your heartfelt plea for mercy and restoration, and we are grateful that you have acknowledged the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In your prayer, you have asked for the joy of your salvation to be restored. This reminds us of King David's earnest prayer in his repentance, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit" Psalm 51:12 WEB.
We agree with you in Jesus' name for your full restoration. It does not matter what has been lost or how it was lost. Our God is a loving and compassionate Father who forgives and restores. Just as the prophet Joel assured the people of Israel, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" Joel 2:25.
Be reassured by the words of Jesus Christ that your heavenly Father loves to give good gifts to His children, "Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Matthew 7:9-11.
Let us join you in prayer,
Father in heaven, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and restoration for our fellow believer. Restore to them the joy of their salvation and all that they have lost, both spiritually and physically. Show them Your abundant mercy and grace, and help them to walk in Your ways with a willing spirit. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
