I haven't heard from my daughter, Angelica, in more than a week, now. The last I knew of her, she had been picked up by police officers for public intoxication. The drinking and possible drug addictions seem to be far worse than I had imagined. She is back with her abusive boyfriend, and this is probably the reason for her not contacting me. Because she knows how I feel about him. Don't get me wrong. He is in my prayers as well, but the two don't get along. They have no respect for one another. They have tried to make their relationship work, but there are far too many hurts between them that stirs up bad feelings for each other (lack of respect).
I miss my daughter and my grandsons. I give all my cares to God. My faith is in Him to keep them safe and to draw them closer to Him. But not hearing from them hurts me badly. I feel like I'm going out of my mind. We never had a perfect mother/daughter relationship, but hate was never an option or choice for us. No matter what, we would always call each other and let one another know how much we love and think of each other.
So my prayer request tonight is in several parts.. First, that she and my grandsons are safe and that God draws them close to His heart, pushing away people who only offer bad influences in their lives.. 2nd, that God blesses them with good people in their lives to lift them up and help them. 3rd, Every need of theirs' is met to give (especially my daughter) peace of mind. 4th, that my daughter calls me to let me know how she and the boys are doing.
I know I'm missing something, but it's late, and i'm tired.. please ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in prayer. To cover whatever I've missed in posting on this request. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!!
