Restoration of Gods Glory NOW

Shalom God is so good to us, and we enjoy many comforts and a level of prosperity never seen before; yet, instead of giving Him the glory for this, humanism is being promoted. Could you please pray for us here in ###, ###, and whole ###—asking for forgiveness for this, and that God may see the restoration of HIS GLORY in and through Jesus Christ, receiving what has been withheld from Him—RIGHT NOW, in Jesus' name? Thank you very much, and may God bless you in Jesus' name!

We join with you in this holy burden and we thank you for your heart that longs to see God receive the glory that is rightfully His. We agree that God has been so good and gracious, granting comforts and prosperity such as generations before us have never known, and it grieves us also when that goodness is credited to man rather than to the Giver of every good gift.

Scripture warns us of this very danger. We are told in Deuteronomy 8:18 to remember Yahweh our God, for it is he who gives us power to get wealth, and in Deuteronomy 8:17 not to say in our hearts, My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth. When we forget this we exchange the truth of God for a lie and serve the creature rather than the Creator, as described in Romans 1:25. Humanism in all its forms does this, for it puts man at the center and withholds from God the honor due His name. Yet the Lord declares in Isaiah 42:8, I am Yahweh, that is my name. I will not give my glory to another, and in Psalm 115:1 we are taught to pray, Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake.

We humbly confess this sin together with you, for our land and for your city, region and nation, and we ask for forgiveness. We claim the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that if his people who are called by his name will humble themselves, pray, seek his face, and turn from their wicked ways, then he will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. We also remember 1 Corinthians 10:31 that whether we eat or drink, or whatever we do, we are to do all to the glory of God.

We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that God is glorified.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We humble ourselves before You and confess that we have not given You the glory You deserve. Forgive us for pride and for humanism that exalts man and diminishes You. Forgive us for taking Your blessings of prosperity and comfort and failing to thank You and honor You as the source. Wash us in the blood of Jesus and cleanse our hearts. We ask that You restore Your glory in our midst right now. Let Your name be hallowed again in our homes, churches, cities and nation. Pour out Your Spirit so that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea, Habakkuk 2:14. Cause Your people to live in a way that reflects Your holiness and causes others to see our good works and glorify You, Matthew 5:16. We ask that You receive what has been withheld from You, the praise, honor and thanksgiving that belong to You alone, for You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, Revelation 4:11. Establish the lordship of Jesus Christ in every place where human wisdom has been exalted, and let Christ be lifted up so that all will be drawn to Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only way to You, John 14:6, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap with thanksgiving, giving glory to God in all things and speaking of His goodness to those around you. As you remain faithful in prayer and in proclaiming that every perfect gift is from above, James 1:17, God will use your testimony to turn hearts back to Himself. We are trusting with you for a fresh outpouring of repentance and for the restoration of His glory in and through Jesus Christ right now.

Absolutely true may God bless all who pray. Inwish it werr all the multitudes praised God but even if its just a few let us worship. Lord Yeshuas name amen

We were encouraged to read your burden for your community and your nation, asking that God would receive the glory that is due Him. It is a humble and beautiful thing to enjoy the good gifts around you and still pause to say this all comes from the Lord, and to long for others to see that too. We join you in that desire.

We understand the ache you describe, when comfort and prosperity can quietly turn hearts toward human effort instead of toward the Giver. Your longing for forgiveness and for Christ to be lifted up again is itself a sign of God at work, drawing people back to Himself. That kind of turning is not just a momentary feeling but a steady change of heart and life that God graciously works in us as we keep coming to Him honestly.

One simple way to carry this burden forward is to invite one or two trusted believers near you to pray with you regularly for your town and nation, and to keep giving thanks openly in your own home and church so gratitude becomes visible to others. Small, faithful consistency over time often bears more fruit than trying to carry a whole nation alone.

We pray for you and your people now. Father, we thank You for Your goodness to this land and ask for Your mercy where You have been forgotten. Draw many hearts back to Yourself through Jesus Christ, and let Your glory be seen in changed lives, humble worship and love for one another. Give our friend strength and encouragement as he continues to seek You faithfully. In Jesus' name, amen.

Dear God,

I pray that You Lord help us all to seek God first and put in our hearts a desire to reach others for Christ and help us glorify You in our day to day activities too in Jesus' name

I pray against the spirit of pride and any haughtiness so there are no blocks to doing God's work in Jesus' name

Help us to walk with humility and thanksgiving in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for answered prayer in Jesus' mighty name.

Your prayer touches the very heart of true religion, for to desire that God should have His glory is the mark of a soul taught by grace. We join you in this burden, and we take it before the throne with thankfulness that you have been moved to seek not your own comfort but the honor of the Lord.

It is indeed as you say, the goodness of God is everywhere to be seen in our comforts and prosperity, and that goodness ought to lead us to repentance. Yet how often man takes the gift and forgets the Giver, and sets up human wisdom and human strength in the place where only God should be praised. This is a great evil, and calls for deep confession. True repentance, as the Scripture shows, is that which gives God glory. It glorifies His omniscience by confessing that He sees all, and glorifies His righteousness by owning that His law is holy and just and good, and that the fault lies wholly in ourselves. They repented not to give Him glory, is the solemn charge against the impenitent, but where the Spirit works, the soul abhors its sin and cries for mercy through Christ alone.

We therefore pray with you, and for you, and for the people of your land and the whole nation you have named, that the Lord would grant a repentance unto life. May He show His goodness and His sovereignty together, for His glory lies in His goodness, and the brightest gem in His crown is that He is good and gracious to whom He will be gracious. May He make His goodness to pass before you, and bring many to see that they cannot save themselves, that there is nothing in themselves for which He should have mercy, and so cast themselves wholly upon the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and gives it even in the place where we have been accustomed to say, O wretched man that I am.

Our prayer is that the Lord Himself would be your rereward, that His glory which must bring up the rear and shelter the weak and preserve the saints would be seen among you, not as a distant doctrine but as a present power, converting the chief of sinners and causing those who are saved to hold on and continue to the end. This death and barrenness of humanism is but a platform for the divine glory to display itself, when faith looks to Christ and lives.

May the Lord hear and answer, forgiving what has been withheld from Him, and restoring to Himself the praise that is His due, in and through Jesus Christ, to whom be all the glory, now and forever. Amen.
