To use my talents for Gods glory

I of course want to use my talents for glory, i think that's 1 Corinthians 10:13 "whatever you do, do it for the glory of God"

Sometimes I find it hard to find the motivation or to get myself to do my talents. I know, it sounds crazy, right? But, even with operating in my spiritual gifts too, I enjoy it, but you have to get yourself to do it in the first place, that's the hard part, but nothing is impossible with God

1) drawing, I recently got back into this, like legit yesterday. I have drawn since I was little, but most of my Christian journey, I have failed to keep consistent or even keep the desire to do it. But, I feel maybe God is calling me towards it. Like some time this year, I had a dream about drawing, it got me back into it, then I just stopped, now here I am again. I have had a thing of me not liking my drawings, comparing mine to others, ever since being in secondary at least that I remember. But yesterday, I actually really liked my drawing, which is really rare. I also wanna challenge myself with more advanced drawings, but I don't wanna overwhelm myself, but I do wanna improve in my drawing skills, so how do i balance that?

2) singing, I don't do it daily as of now, but I have really got back into it since being a Christian, more so to do with language learning (so singing in ukrainian or spanish). I did sing as a young girl, but obviously I wasn't doing it for worship to God, I don't even know what songs i was singing. But yes, I wanna use it for His glory. But the prideful thoughts come in a lot when singing. Well, it's either "oh I'm so good blah blah" or it's "I don't like my singing", especially when with some songs I can't sing as too high pitch or whatever. How do I combat that? With Bible verses?

3) language learning. I am learning spanish & ukrainian & I need to get back into speaking & reading & I need to get into writing. How do I use this for His glory? Recently, I haven't been posting in either language, so how do i get myself back into that? Especially as I don't know much of what to say, like I can't find the words, so how do i speak confidently in a language that I don't even know?

4) dancing. I used to do a bit of dancing, earlier on this year, but I then stopped. How do I get back into it & how do i use that for the glory of Christ? I have a whole playlist of christian songs, mainly christian phonk, I can see the moves in my head to be for dancing. As I can envision these things & same with content creating, what does that mean? Does that mean God is calling me towards dance or is it that He has called me to something to do with my mind? But I have no idea what that even means. Am I supposed to be prophesying?

5) sewing. I did it in school, so like 7-8 years ago, but I have a sewing machine & I wanna get into it, as I like fashion. I could even envision myself as being a Christian fashion designer, hence why I liked the cruella movie, but not the parts where I could see it being not a good movie to watch as a Christian, not only it's Disney, but the whole devil thing in the name of cruella, as that's her last name, maybe spelt different, but still. That's what got me into the idea of being a fashion designer in the first place. Maybe the drawing & fashion designing could go together, ooo, that just came to mind.

6) content creating. I mostly do it on tiktok, but I need to get back into doing it on YouTube, as I have a podcast. But, maybe I do it more on tiktok, as it takes less time, maybe less effort, & I don't have a lot of people on YouTube, even though I know I'm doing it for His glory, but some reason that gets at me. Lord, help me to get back into my content creating, not for me, but for Your glory.

7) teaching is one of my spiritual gifts, which at the moment I only do as content creation, so i need help to expand that into face to face with people, maybe I could start with my church, the Holy Spirit speaks through me, but I either am less likely to go by His leading as much as I would infront of a screen, I am shaky & nervous, or a lot of people are talking, so i don't wanna interrupt & I am slow to speak (trying my best ofc - how do i do it in Christ's strength?), but that's one of the ways I feel like I'm not following all of the Holy Spirit's leading.

8) intercession is another one of my spiritual gifts, which at the moment I more struggle to do, I do it for different countries, but am struggling to do it for my church, my family, friends, & others in my life. I feel like I've neglected the Holy Spirit's leading & don't do that as much, like i don't give Him the space to do that or the time even. Help me Holy Spirit.

9) service, this may be another one of my spiritual gifts. I enjoy doing it, but what are all the ways you can serve others? & how do i do it humbly, not expecting anything from anyone, like how Jesus did it? How do i have the heart of Christ?

The apostle Paul himself wrestled with this very struggle when he wrote, "For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, this I practice" (Romans 7:19 WEB). Yet he also declared, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 WEB). This is the key, your strength, consistency, and purpose flow from abiding in Christ, not from your own effort.

First, we must address the foundation: Jesus Christ is the only way to God, the only name by which we are saved, and the only source of true power for living a life of purpose. You’ve mentioned seeking God’s glory, but we must be clear, there is no access to the Father except through Jesus (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and receive His forgiveness and new life. Without this, even the most well-intentioned efforts to use your gifts will lack the power of the Holy Spirit. If you have already done this, praise God! Now, let us walk together in His strength.

Now, let us address each area with biblical truth, rebuke where needed, and pray for God’s wisdom and empowerment:

1. Drawing and Artistic Growth
Your struggle with consistency and comparison is not unique, but it is a scheme of the enemy to steal your joy and calling. The Bible says, "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10 WEB). Your art is not just a hobby, it is a divine assignment. When you compare yourself to others, you are measuring God’s creation by human standards, which is pride in disguise. The Lord sees your work as valuable because He is the one who gave you the gift. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" (Colossians 3:23 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of perfectionism and self-doubt in Jesus’ name. You do not need to be the best, you need to be faithful. Start small. Set aside 10-15 minutes a day to draw, even if it’s just doodles. Challenge yourself incrementally, but do not despise small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10 WEB). Ask the Holy Spirit to anoint your hands and imagination for His glory. If He has given you a vision for advanced work, He will also give you the grace to grow into it.

Prayer: Father, we thank You for the gift of creativity You have placed in [this sister/brother]. Lord, anoint her hands and mind to create art that reflects Your beauty and truth. Break the chains of comparison and self-doubt. Give her discipline to practice consistently and joy in the process. Let her art be a testimony to Your glory, whether it is seen by many or by few. 2. Singing and Worship
Singing is a sacred act of worship, not a performance. The moment you shift your focus from God to yourself, whether through pride or insecurity, you open the door to the enemy’s lies. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16 WEB). Your voice is not for your own glory; it is an instrument for His.

We rebuke the spirit of pride and self-consciousness in Jesus’ name. When you sing, you are not auditioning for man, you are offering a sacrifice of praise to God (Hebrews 13:15 WEB). Whether your voice is "perfect" or not is irrelevant; what matters is the condition of your heart. If you struggle with high notes, sing songs within your range or use your voice to speak-sing in worship. The Bible says, "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!" (Psalm 100:1 WEB), it does not say the noise must be perfect.

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for the gift of song You have given. Purify her heart so that her singing is always an act of worship, not a performance. Remove all pride and insecurity. Let her voice be a sweet aroma to You, whether she sings alone in her room or in a crowd. Teach her to sing with grace in her heart, always pointing to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

3. Language Learning
Your desire to learn Spanish and Ukrainian is not accidental, God often uses language to break down barriers and spread the Gospel. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19 WEB) begins with communication. You are being equipped to reach hearts that may not hear the Gospel in English.

We encourage you to see language learning as an act of love, not just a personal goal. "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one" (Colossians 4:6 WEB). Even if you feel you don’t know what to say, start small. Write short prayers or Bible verses in the languages you’re learning. Post them online as an encouragement to others. Speak out loud, even if it’s just to yourself, faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17 WEB). Confidence will grow with practice.

Prayer: Father, we thank You for the gift of tongues and the ability to communicate Your love across languages. Strengthen her in her studies. Give her boldness to speak, even when she feels inadequate. Let her words in every language bring life, hope, and truth to those who hear. Use her to break down walls and build bridges for the Gospel. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

4. Dancing
Dance is a powerful form of worship, as seen throughout Scripture. King David danced before the Lord with all his might (2 Samuel 6:14 WEB), and the psalmist declares, "Let them praise His name with dancing!" (Psalm 149:3 WEB). If you feel drawn to dance, it is likely the Holy Spirit inviting you to express your love for God through movement.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or hesitation in Jesus’ name. Dancing before the Lord is not about skill, it is about surrender. Start by dancing in your room to worship music, even if it’s just swaying or simple steps. If God has given you a vision for choreography or content creation, ask Him to open doors for you to use it for His glory. Do not overthink whether it’s "prophecy" or "just an idea", if it aligns with Scripture and brings glory to God, step out in faith.

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for the gift of movement and expression. Anoint her feet to dance before You in joy and freedom. Break every chain of fear or self-consciousness. Let her dance be a testimony of Your goodness and a weapon against the enemy. Use her to inspire others to worship You with their whole being. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

5. Sewing and Fashion Design
Fashion is a form of artistry that can reflect God’s creativity and beauty. The Bible says, "She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes to the merchants" (Proverbs 31:24 WEB), this Proverbs 31 woman used her skills to provide for her household and bless others. Your desire to design clothing is not frivolous; it is a calling to steward your gifts.

However, we must caution you about the influence of worldly media. The "Cruella" movie, while creatively made, glorifies rebellion, darkness, and a twisted view of identity, all of which are contrary to God’s design. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2 WEB). Instead of drawing inspiration from ungodly sources, seek God’s heart for beauty that reflects His holiness and grace. Consider designing modest, uplifting clothing that honors Him.

Prayer: Father, we thank You for the gift of creativity in sewing and design. Anoint her hands to create garments that reflect Your beauty and holiness. Give her wisdom to avoid worldly influences and instead draw inspiration from Your Word. Let her work be a blessing to others and a testimony to Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

6. Content Creation
Content creation is a modern-day pulpit, and you have a responsibility to use it wisely. "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB). Whether you have 10 followers or 10,000, your platform is a stewardship from God.

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and comparison in Jesus’ name. It is not about numbers, it is about faithfulness. If God has called you to create content, He will open the right doors at the right time. Start with what you have. Post short, encouraging videos on TikTok or YouTube. Share testimonies, Bible verses, or practical wisdom. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your words and timing. "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB).

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for the platform You have given her. Anoint her words and creativity to impact lives for Your kingdom. Remove all fear of man and discouragement. Let her content be a light in the darkness, drawing people closer to You. Give her wisdom to use her time and resources wisely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

7. Teaching
Teaching is a sacred gift, and the Holy Spirit will use you mightily if you yield to Him. "My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me" (John 7:16 WEB). You do not need to have all the answers, you need to be a vessel.

Set aside dedicated time each day to pray for your church, family, and friends. Use a prayer journal to track requests and answers. Ask the Holy Spirit to burden your heart for specific needs. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB). Your prayers are not in vain, they move the heart of God.

Service is the heartbeat of Christ, who "did not come to be served, but to serve" (Mark 10:45 WEB). Every act of service, no matter how small, is an opportunity to reflect His love.

We rebuke the spirit of pride and expectation in Jesus’ name. Service is not about recognition, it is about obedience. "Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Look for needs around you, at church, in your community, or even in your family. Serve with joy, not out of obligation. Ask God to give you His heart for others, so you can love them as He does.

Prayer: Father, we thank You for the gift of service. Give her a heart like Yours, a heart that loves and serves others selflessly. Open her eyes to the needs around her. Let her serve with joy, humility, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Use her to be a blessing to others and a reflection of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sister/Brother, you are not called to do all these things in your own strength. "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts" (Zechariah 4:6 WEB). The Holy Spirit is your Helper, your Teacher, and your Guide. Surrender each gift to Him daily. Ask Him to order your steps and show you where to focus. Do not despise small beginnings, faithfulness in little leads to much (Luke 16:10 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child. Thank You for the gifts and talents You have placed within her. Lord, we ask that You would anoint each one for Your glory. Break every chain of fear, doubt, and inconsistency. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in power, love, and self-control. Give her wisdom to steward her gifts well. We love how you’ve laid all of this out, your creative gifts, your spiritual gifts, and the honest struggle with what comes before the doing: the getting started. That’s not crazy at all. Motivation often lags behind desire, and we can love the idea of something while still finding the first step daunting. What you’re describing isn’t a lack of passion but the friction of beginning, and that’s something we can work with gently.

One thing that helps us is reframing the hard part. Instead of waiting for a burst of motivation or a feeling of readiness, think of it as training rather than trying. An athlete doesn’t wait to feel like running; she just shows up for the drill, trusting that the feelings and skill will follow the discipline. The act itself, however small, becomes the offering God receives. So rather than looking at the whole list and feeling stuck, picking just one small, undemanding thing can open the door. Maybe it’s sketching for ten minutes without judging the result, or humming a worship song in Ukrainian while you make breakfast. These tiny, undefended moments are His glory too, and they often loosen the paralysis of perfectionism.

When it comes to the pride or self-criticism that creeps in, especially with singing, we’ve found it helps not to fight those thoughts directly with an argument, but to redirect them. Those voices that say “I sound amazing” or “I sound terrible” are both focused on the same thing: you. What if, in the moment you notice them, you simply tell yourself, _this isn’t about me at all; it’s an offering._ It doesn’t need to be good to be faithful. It just needs to be given.

For the desire to teach face to face and intercede for those close to you, those are beautiful, weighty gifts, and we sense they come from a deeper place. Serving others humbly, as Jesus did, often means serving where no one sees, which is exactly what quiet intercession for your church and family is. You don’t need eloquent words. You just need to show up in that hidden place and let the Spirit do what only He can.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, thank You for putting these gifts and longings into this heart. We lift up the struggle to begin, the weight of comparison, and the grip of pride, and we ask You to loosen each one. Give a simple, steady joy in the doing, free from the need to measure up. Help each small act of drawing, singing, speaking, and sewing become an unselfconscious offering. Guide the teaching and intercession, and build the courage to step out, even when it’s shaky. In Your name, Amen.

That you long to use every talent for the glory of God is itself a mark of grace, for the unregenerate heart seeks its own glory and never the glory of the Most High. Yet you describe a soul that feels the drag of this present evil world, the whisperings of pride, and the sluggishness of the flesh. It is well that you have come with an open heart. The Lord will give grace and glory, and no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. Let us look to His Word and find strength for the struggle.

You have begun with the apostle’s charge, “whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” That is the grand aim, and it is right. But the very difficulty you feel, the lack of motive, the weariness in setting hand to the work, proves that you are looking a little too much within and too little upon the Crucified One. The secret energy of a believer is not found by lashing the will into action, but by beholding Christ. When we see His glory in the face of Jesus, we are changed into the same image, and service becomes a delight. The grace that saves is the grace that empowers. Do not wait for a surging feeling of readiness; begin in feebleness, leaning on the Strong One. “The Lord will give grace” for the drawing, the singing, the learning, grace today, and as surely glory at the end.

Consider drawing. You compare, and comparison withers the heart. Yet you found a moment when your own drawing pleased you. May that be a glimpse of the truth that your portion is not to outshine others, but to manifest the Creator’s beauty in your own appointed sphere. One of the sweetest ways to quiet the envious spirit is to remember that the glory of the Church is manifold, there is one glory of the sun, another of the moon, and another of the stars. Your stroke of the pencil, however humble, may yet reflect something of the divine order. Set yourself to improve without morbid anxiety. Take a little advance at a time, as a child learns to walk, and give the praise to God. When pride over a well-drawn line would steal in, let the cross be your glory. Has Christ not put to shame all boasting? “He that glories, let him glory only in the Lord.”

So with the voice. Pride in a melodious note or discouragement at a note that falters, both spring from the same root of self. The answer is not simply to quote a verse, though the Word is the sword of the Spirit; it is to hide the soul in the cleft of the rock. When you sing, whether in English, Spanish, or Ukrainian, first offer the voice as a sacrifice of praise, and then think little of the sound. The Lord has called us to His eternal glory, not to the vanishing applause of men. Seek to make His name known, and the pitch will matter far less than the heart that rises with it.

Language learning is a noble ambition when it is laid upon the altar. You wonder how to speak confidently when words are lacking. Is it not so in the gospel? We stammer out our testimony, but the Spirit intercedes with groanings that cannot be uttered. The glory of God is often best displayed when human ability is smallest, for then it is plain that the excellency of the power is of Him. Post, write, speak, in trembling, if need be, and leave the increase to the Lord. A soul that merely attempts a phrase in another tongue for Christ’s sake may be sowing seed that will blossom in eternity.

You have visions for dance and for fashion, pictures moving in your mind. Whether these are a direct call to prophesying or the simple movements of a sanctified imagination, I cannot pronounce. But I counsel you: test all things by the Word. Does the vision humble you, drive you to prayer, fill you with love for Christ? Then pursue it, but slowly and with a discerning spirit. The mind can be a temple of the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost does not lead us into pride or chaos. If the drawing and the sewing meet in a godly design, let it be so, as long as you never forget that the true garment is the righteousness of Christ.

Your content creating, teaching, and intercession all bear the marks of a real gifting, yet the screen is easier than the face-to-face encounter. This is not strange. The Lord will give grace and glory, but often He calls us first to small obediences before larger. Begin with one faithful word to a single soul in your congregation, even if your voice shakes. Do not mistake quietness for unfaithfulness; the Spirit does not always bid us to interrupt the multitude. A slow tongue, sanctified, may utter a weightier word than a hundred swift speeches. As for neglect of the Holy Spirit’s leadings, do not lie under guilt; flee to the cross afresh. The blood of sprinkling cleanses us from all sin, even the sin of restraint. Begin this day to set aside a quarter of an hour for deliberate intercession for your church and your family. The glory of the Lord shall be your rereward.

Service, you ask how to do it with Christ’s own heart. Look to the wonder that He, who is in the form of God, took the form of a servant. The cross once more is the lesson. He did nothing expecting return, and He gives grace that we might follow in His steps. The ways to serve are as numerous as the needs of the saints: a quiet visit, a note written, a dish prepared, a child minded, a floor swept, an ear given to the sorrowful. Let these be done not to be seen of men, and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly. Such hidden doings will, in that Day, be found to have a greater glory than the most dazzling public works done in self-reliance.

To be consistent is to be kept by the power of God through faith. You are not left to your own resolution. The Father has called you to eternal glory by Christ Jesus, and between justification and glory there runs a golden chain. Whom He justified, them He also glorified. The same grace that began the work will complete it. Rest in that. And when you feel the creeping of pride or the sting of comparison, turn your eyes once more to Calvary. In that humiliation, all human boasting dies, and only the glory of the Lord is lifted up. Unto Him who loved us, washed us, and has made us kings and priests, be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Your struggle is not a sign of failure but of a soul that desires to serve God truly, yet finds itself weighed down by the flesh and the world’s noise. The gifts you list are seeds planted by the Giver of every good thing, but the ground of your heart must be cleared of pride and comparison before they can bear fruit for His glory. When you draw, the old temptation returns to measure your lines against another’s. But what is that to you? The glory of God is not found in being greater than another; the widow’s two mites cast into the treasury were received with more honor than the gold of the wealthy, because they came from a heart emptied of self-regard. Your drawing yesterday pleased you because for a moment you forgot yourself. Pursue that: challenge yourself step by step, not overwhelming the spirit, for the body can be trained with patience. If a dream stirred you, give thanks and test it by steady work, not by sudden fervor that quickly fades like the glory on Moses’ face unless you remain near the source.

So too with singing. Pride whispers either flattery or despair; both are the same poison. When the notes soar, tell your soul, “This is not my own, but a gift of the Holy Spirit.” When your voice falters on a high pitch, recall that the true worshipers are those who serve in spirit, not those who produce a perfect sound. The tune that reaches heaven is a humbled heart. Combat pride not only with verses but with deeds: sing to the Lord alone in your room, then lift your voice without pretense, even in broken Ukrainian or Spanish. The stammering tongue that strives for God’s praise is a sweet incense before Him. Do not wait for confidence before you speak; speak in the little you know, and He who fed the multitude with a few loaves will multiply your words for His purpose.

Language learning, dancing, sewing, content creating: in all these, ask not whether you are called in some special revelation, but whether you can do them as unto the Lord and not unto men. The dream and the visions you see in your mind, the moves to Christian song, the designs of fashion, these may be stirrings of a fertile imagination. But the test is this: does the fruit lead to modesty, to the adorning of the soul, to building up others? If the Cruella movie planted a desire, let that seed now be purified; strip away what is worldly and nurture what is true and lovely. A Christian fashion designer covers the body not for vainglory but with dignity. Drawing and sewing together can serve charity: make garments for the poor, create images that honor the Creator, not the creature.

Content creation, whether on TikTok or YouTube, is a platform, not the message. You confess that the smaller audience on one channel troubles you. There is the root: you still look for the glory that passes away. Hold fast your confidence and rejoicing of hope firm to the end; let no number of views make you ashamed of the gospel. The kingdom grows from a mustard seed, unseen. Do the work, even if only one soul hears, and that soul your own. Teach as the Spirit leads: behind a screen is easier because there is no immediate cross of self. To teach face to face, start with a few in your church, trembling as you are. It is good to be slow to speak; the swift tongue often kindles its own fire. Wait on the Spirit’s prompting, and when you open your mouth, do so in fear and compunction, not with eloquence. Interrupt no one, but watch for a moment of quiet and offer a word humbly, ready to be corrected. Your weakness is the very place where His grace is sufficient.

Intercession is the gift of tears, yet you neglect it for those near you. The monk’s hymn after supper thanks God for sustenance and begs to be filled with the Holy Ghost, that we may not be ashamed at His coming. Set aside a little time each day, even five minutes, to kneel for your church, your family, and your neighbors. Do not let the sorrow of many countries drown remembrance of the person before you. Service likewise begins in the small, hidden gesture: washing dishes, visiting the sick, listening to the lonely. Do it without any expectation, as Christ girded Himself and washed feet. The heart of Christ is formed by frequently emptying your own will. When you serve, let your left hand not know what your right does.

All these threads, weaving together, must be held by one cord: a steadfast turning from self. The world’s winter, thick with cares, quenches the Spirit’s fire. Every distraction, every pang of “I am not good enough” or “I am so good,” is a frost that chills devotion. Therefore, daily strip away such thoughts. The unmarried woman of whom we spoke once, adorned with modesty, is a pattern; but I say to you, adorn your soul with consistency. Rise each morning and offer the day’s labor, small as it is, to God. Say with the monks, “Fill our hearts with joy and gladness, that always having all sufficiency we may abound unto every good work in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Then take up the task, not feeling your way but walking by faith. He who sees in secret will reward openly.

Do not despise the beginnings. The glory that remains in you for a day or two can endure if you guard it from worldly storms. Let your prayer be not for motivation alone but for true compunction, the piercing of the heart that births salvation. Then your talents, drawn and sung and spoken and woven, will be like olive plants round about the table of the Lord, fruitful and unhidden, and you will behold Christ with boldness in that day. Continue, then, not by your own strength but by His, giving thanks always, and not being ashamed before the One who renders to each according to his works.

That verse you mentioned, 1 Corinthians 10:31, really does set the standard: "whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." It sounds like the struggle isn't a lack of love for the Lord, but the same battle every believer faces: the pull of the flesh, the tug of pride, and the weariness that comes when our eyes drift from Christ to ourselves.

You mentioned pride creeping in with singing and comparison stealing your joy in drawing. That's exactly the kind of attack that has been tripping up God's people since the garden. The enemy doesn't usually invent new strategies. He goes after the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. With drawing, the lust of the eyes can hook you through comparing your work to others, making you crave the approval that comes from being "as good as" someone else. Pride of life whispers that your worth is tied to your skill. With singing, pride of life puffs you up with thoughts of how good you are, or it crushes you with self-criticism when a note falls short. Both are forms of pride, because both keep the focus squarely on self. Even the desire to be "advanced" too quickly can be a subtle pride that wants to bypass the patient, humble process of growing.

The only way to break that pattern is the same way Jesus did when He was tempted in the wilderness. He refused to live by bread alone, or test God, or grasp at worldly glory. He rested in the Father's word and will. So when you sit down to draw, remind yourself: "I'm doing this for an audience of One. Lord, let this bring You pleasure, not me praise." When you sing, whether it's in Ukrainian, Spanish, or your heart language, let the words of Scripture shape your thoughts. Colossians 3:16 says to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you sing. So fill your mind with truth before you open your mouth, and if a proud thought rises, immediately turn it into a prayer: "Lord, this voice is Yours. Use it, or quiet it, as You see fit."

That same principle applies across the board. Language learning? Dedicate it to the Lord. Maybe He'll open a door to share the gospel with someone, translate resources, or simply build a bridge of kindness. Even the daily discipline of vocabulary review can be an act of worship when offered to Him. Dancing? If you can envision moves to songs that honor Christ, then dance before Him with a heart like David's. Don't overanalyze whether a vision means you're "called" to dance or prophesy. Just be faithful with what's in front of you, and let God direct the steps. Sewing and designing? That creativity is a gift. Whether you ever design a full line or simply mend clothes for a neighbor in need, do it with excellence and humility, not buying into the world's obsession with darkness or self-promotion.

Content creation and teaching go hand in hand. The pull toward the easy platform is real; TikTok feels faster, less vulnerable. But if the Lord has put teaching on your life, then trust Him with the reach. Spiritual gifts aren't for building an audience; they're for building up the body of Christ. Start small. Offer to share a brief devotion in your church gathering, or ask a leader if you can co-teach a class. The shaking and nervousness? That's where Christ's strength is perfected. His power is made perfect in weakness. You don't need to be eloquent or quick. Slow speech isn't a flaw; it's an opportunity for the Spirit to speak with clarity and weight. Yield to Him.

Intercession is a lifeline. You feel the neglect, and that's the Spirit's gentle conviction. Start fresh today. Don't try to pray for the whole world at once. Take five minutes and pray for one family member, one church leader, one friend. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a specific burden. Write their names down. As you're faithful in the little things, the time and the desire will expand. Service is the same. Look around: who needs a meal, a ride, a listening ear? A handmade card, a mended garment, a translated note of encouragement? Do it quietly, without needing a thank-you. Jesus washed feet knowing one of the men would betray Him and all would scatter. That's the heart of Christ: other-focused, self-forgetful love.

Nothing is impossible with God, as you said. But He usually builds consistency one small, obedient step at a time. Don't get overwhelmed by all nine areas today. Pick one or two to focus on this week, and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh with His power and joy. He's not standing far off, waiting for you to perform. He's right there, ready to help.
