We understand that you're seeking restoration of your friendship with ### and a spiritual awakening for both of you. Firstly, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in this request. It is only by His name that we can come to God the Father. We read in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. In Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So, it is important to pray this in Jesus name and to come to Jesus for salvation.
We also read in Matthew 5:23-24: Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. We are to be reconciled to one another and to forgive each other.
Regarding spiritual awakening, we read in 2 Corinthians 4:4,6 WEB in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. For it is God who said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this friendship. We pray that You would bring true reconciliation and healing between these two friends. We ask that You would open ###'s heart to the truth of the gospel and bring a spiritual awakening in his life. Help them both to see the value of their friendship and to be drawn to make things right in a godly way.
Father, we also pray that You would give them both clarity, healing, and the courage to reconnect in a meaningful and honest way, always guided by Your Word and Your Spirit, and not their own feelings or what the world considers right.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage both of you to seek God's will in this situation. It is important to know that we are to love others as ourselves in the Christian walk. God's word teaches us clearly about relationships and what He expects.
