Father, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness to fill the hearts of this husband and wife. We pray that You would open the doors for reconciliation and restoration, that they may come together again under one roof, forgiving and loving each other as You have commanded.
We rebuke any ongoing sin that may be occurring in this marriage. If there is any sexual immorality, unforgiveness, or other sins that have entered, these need to be confessed and repented of and turned away from. We read in Corinthians 6:18 WEB, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
We pray that this couple seeks God wholeheartedly. That each of them individually draws near to God, repents, and forgives one another. We also pray for godly counsel around them, that they may receive the support and wisdom they need to rebuild their marriage according to Your will.
