Restoration healing and breakthrough

Hello to everyone in the group I’m in need of urgent fervent prayer. I want to restore my relationship with Christ as I’m in a serious spiritual warfare battle and have been under attack for weeks. I also need physical and emotional healing as I’m suffering in multiple areas. This has affected my physical appearance as well due to lack of sleep and being worn out. I also want to restore my relationship with my father after decades of not being close like we once were. I go through a lot of family neglect often feeling unloved and unwanted and it’s take a very big toll on me mentally.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. We recognize the intense spiritual battle you are facing, and we stand with you, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to rebuke the enemy and claim victory in the name of Jesus.

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of your relationship with Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that you would draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Confess any known sin, and He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We rebuke the enemy's lies and accusations in Jesus' name, for he is the father of lies (John 8:44), and we have been given the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

We pray for your physical and emotional healing, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask the Great Physician to touch your body and mend every broken place, to restore your strength, and to grant you peaceful, restorative sleep. We pray for your emotions, that the God of all comfort would comfort you in all your affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and command it to leave in Jesus' name, for He has given us a garment of praise instead (Isaiah 61:3).

Regarding your relationship with your father, we pray for restoration and healing. We ask the Lord to soften both of your hearts, to grant you wisdom and discernment, and to help you extend grace and forgiveness to one another. Remember, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). We pray that the love of Christ would bind you together, and that you would experience the healing power of forgiveness and reconciliation.

We also want to gently address the feelings of neglect and being unloved. We rebuke the enemy's lies that seek to make you feel unwanted, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. We pray that you would experience the depth of God's love for you, and that He would surround you with His love through the body of Christ.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle. We rebuke the enemy and command him to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit, that they would be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16).

Lord, we ask for physical and emotional healing. Touch their body and mend every broken place. Restore their strength and grant them peaceful, restorative sleep. Heal their emotions, and let them experience Your comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for restoration in their relationship with their earthly father. Soften both of their hearts, grant them wisdom and discernment, and help them extend grace and forgiveness to one another. Let Your love bind them together, and may they experience the healing power of reconciliation.

We rebuke the enemy's lies that seek to make them feel unloved and unwanted. Remind them of Your deep love for them, and surround them with Your love through the body of Christ. Help them to see themselves as You see them, fearfully and wonderfully made.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God's Word, for it is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Spend time in prayer and worship, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you, and remember that you are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped (Psalm 28:7). Keep pressing into Him, and He will restore, heal, and bring breakthrough in every area of your life.

Thank you for trusting us with what you’re carrying. We hear how bone-weary you are from weeks of spiritual pushback, physical drain, and the deep ache of family neglect. When you’re running on no sleep and feeling unwanted, everything looks bleaker, so we want to sit with you in that honestly, not rush past it.

A couple of things might help right now. First, please consider mentioning the sleeplessness and exhaustion to a doctor. When your body is depleted, the spiritual and emotional battles hit harder. There’s no shame in getting medical support alongside prayer. Second, try not to face this alone. Spiritual warfare thrives in isolation, but worship and presence with other believers can break that spell. Even if you just sit in the back of a church service or ask a pastor or mature friend to pray with you, letting others stand with you can slowly lift the fog. If you don’t have that community yet, it’s worth pursuing, not as one more chore, but as a lifeline.

About your father: decades of distance are heavy, and the feeling of being unloved cuts deep. As you regain strength, a small, low-pressure step, maybe a short note or a phone call with no huge expectations, could begin to reopen that door. But be gentle with yourself. Your worth isn’t defined by anyone’s neglect, and God hasn’t forgotten you. He stays close even when you can’t feel him.

Jesus, we lift up our friend who is worn out and under heavy attack. Quiet the enemy’s noise and restore real rest, body, mind, and spirit. Bring healing where things feel broken, and draw this dear person back into the security of your presence. Soften hearts where decades of distance have hardened, and begin a work of reconciliation with their father. Most of all, let them taste again that they are beloved and never truly alone. In your name, amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The warfare you describe is fierce, but the Captain of our salvation has never lost a battle. You feel the enemy press in on every side, spirit, body, mind, and those ties of flesh and blood that should bring comfort have become cords of sorrow. Yet look away from the strife to the risen Lord. He has bruised the serpent’s head. Even now the leaves of that Tree whose fruit is sweet are for your healing. The least thing about Christ, a single promise whispered by the Spirit, a glance of faith toward His wounded side, carries restoring virtue. His very shadow heals.

You long to be restored to your gracious Lord. Remember Peter. He fell low, yet the Lord turned and looked upon him, and that look broke his heart only to bind it up anew. The crowing of that cock was the trumpet of his recall. And after his restoration, our Lord did not merely forgive, He commissioned Peter to feed His lambs. So it will be with you. The same grace that pardons will establish you. Come back to the Gospel. There Jesus teaches and heals at once. He who said to the palsied man, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee,” gave him strength to rise and walk. Pardon and healing spring from one pierced hand. Oh, that His look of love might now sever you from all despair and draw you to the foot of the cross!

Your physical frame is worn, and your countenance betrays the sleepless nights. Yet the Lord knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. That very weariness can be a mercy if it drives you to lean upon the Beloved. The Sun of Righteousness hath healing in His wings, not only for the soul’s deep plague, but for the trembling nerves and aching head. Cast your burden on Him. He carries the weight of worlds, yet feels the sparrow’s fall.

And what of your earthly father? Decades of distance are a heavy grief. But behold the God of Peace, who in Christ has prepared everything for perfect reconciliation. He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. That word is not a mere truce but a new creation. When He brings a soul back, He sometimes graciously restores the waste places of family affection. Wait upon Him; let your own heart first be fully yielded to the Father of mercies. Then, from the overflow of that peace, you may find words and deeds that rebuild, not through your own wisdom, but by the gentle leading of the Spirit. Peter, after his own restoration, was to strengthen his brethren. Perhaps your own healing will become a means of healing for your father’s house as well.

Do not linger in the mire of despond. Hear the Word: “Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned.” The Lord can in one hour make you forget the anguish of long neglect. The leaves of that tree are for the nations, and for you. Rise, He calleth thee. May the Holy Spirit apply this very message as a balm, and give you to know that you are loved, wanted, and restored, now and forever.

The length of your trial has left you worn and weary, but do not mistake your weakness for His absence. The physician is always near to those who call upon Him. But recall how Christ asked the blind men, "Believe ye that I am able to do this?" He does not rush to heal all alike, not from lack of mercy, but because the healing He offers depends in some measure on the faith of those who seek it. Do not simply cry out for relief; stretch out your hand in trust. If you want your relationship with Christ restored, hear what proves that love: He said, "He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me." No one hears these sayings and ignores them without wounding both the Son and the Father. So return not with words only, but with a life turned toward obedience, and you will find that He is already running to meet you.

Your body and mind are exhausted, and you feel the sting of family neglect, as though you were unloved and unwanted. But think what depth of love has been shown to you. The true Son of God suffered to be called the Son of David, enduring to have a slave as a father in the flesh, so that He might make the Lord Father to you, a slave. If God is more loving than any earthly parent, then even when a father's affection fails, the love of your heavenly Father remains unshaken. When you were still His enemy, Christ from the cross prayed, "Father, forgive them." Will He now ignore your cry when you turn back to Him?

You speak of restoring your relationship with your earthly father after many years. Such a desire is good, and it honors the commandment. But be careful not to let the pain of neglect fester into bitterness or lead you to speak as those who carry about tales. The Pharisee said what was true, "I am not as this publican," and spoke it privately, yet was condemned. How much worse if we nurse our wounds by rehearsing the faults of others! Strive rather to clothe yourself with that love which the Apostle describes, the love that is not easily provoked, that bears all things, hopes all things. That love, working in you, will do more to soften a hardened heart than any reproach.

You say you are in spiritual warfare and have been under attack for weeks. Then arm yourself with perseverance. A tree may withstand ten blows and seem unmoved, yet at the eleventh it falls, but that final stroke is made successful by all that came before. The word of God you have heard, the prayers you have offered, even when you feel insensible, are not lost. Continue in them, and the fruit will appear. Come again to the church, let the medicine of the Scriptures be applied to your soul, and do not think that because you have not felt immediate relief, the treatment has failed. As with a stubborn sickness, the healing often comes after many applications. He who said, "I have many things to tell you, but ye cannot bear them now," knows your frame and will give strength in due season.

Rise, then, and do not surmise anything low. The gifts of healing are not given to all equally, but the gift of love is offered to every believer. Pursue that, and you will find that in loving Christ you love the Father also, and in being reconciled to Him, the breaches with men often begin to mend. May you obtain not only the comfort you seek, but the eternal blessings promised to those who persevere.

The desire you have to restore your relationship with Christ is itself evidence that the Father is already drawing you. No one can truly turn toward the Son unless the Father works in the heart, and that pull you feel, even in the middle of exhaustion and battle, is not your own doing. It is a quiet, powerful invitation to come home.

When the enemy launches these sustained attacks, the warfare is rarely about the surface things like sleeplessness or family pain. It is a spiritual battle for your mind, an attempt to convince you that you are unloved, unwanted, and cut off. The weapons for that fight are not carnal. They are spiritual. The Word of God, faith, and prayer are what push back the darkness. When you feel worn down and your appearance begins to reflect the inner turmoil, speak truth aloud: you are not forgotten, and the One who sees you will sustain you. Even in the sleepless nights, you can whisper the name of Jesus and know that the Father himself loves you because you have loved his Son and believed that he came from God.

That longing to be close to your earthly father again after so many years is not trivial to God. He fashioned the human heart for such bonds. The story of the prodigal son is not only about returning to God; it paints a picture of a father who watched, waited, and ran to embrace a child who felt unworthy. That father placed the best robe on his son, put a ring on his finger, and gave him shoes, marks of sonship, not slavery. Your own father may be distant, and the neglect you have known has left deep wounds, but the heavenly Father’s love is not limited by human failure. He does not neglect. He sees every tear. And often, when we taste his restoring love first, it gives us the strength to extend grace and take small steps toward reconciliation with others, even if the outcome is uncertain.

Jesus came to reveal the Father perfectly. All the healing of sick bodies and mending of broken lives that he did was the Father at work. The Son said, “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” So when you feel too weary to pray, remember that you have direct access to the Father through Christ. You do not need an intermediary. He hears you. The same Jesus who prayed, “Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me,” is interceding for you right now. Your restoration is not dependent on your own strength; it rests in his faithful keeping.

Take up the spiritual weapons afresh. Open the Scriptures, even if only a few verses at first. Let faith rise as you declare that you belong to the Son and, through him, to the Father. The battle is real, but the victory is already secured. May you begin to sense the Father’s compassion running toward you, his arms open, ready to quiet your mind and heal what has been broken.
