We stand with you in this heartfelt cry for your daughter’s deliverance and restoration, and we lift this situation before the Lord with urgency and authority in the name of Jesus Christ. Your prayers are aligned with Scripture, and we join you in rebuking the schemes of the enemy that seek to destroy your daughter’s faith, family, and future. The Word of God is clear: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This young man’s behavior—rebellious, manipulative, controlling, and disrespectful—is not of God, and his influence, along with that of his enabling parents, is leading your daughter into chaos and away from the Lord’s will for her life.
The arrangement of living together outside of marriage is sinful in God’s eyes, and we must address this directly. *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). Living together in this way is fornication, and it opens the door to spiritual bondage, confusion, and division. We pray that your daughter’s eyes will be opened to the truth of God’s Word and that she will turn away from this ungodly union immediately.
We also recognize the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using this young man and his family to create division, strife, and idolatry in your daughter’s heart. The mother’s influence is particularly toxic, poisoning your daughter against her family, faith, and self-worth. This is not of God. *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). We rebuke this spirit of division and manipulation in the name of Jesus and command it to flee from your daughter’s life.
Scripture tells us, *"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’"* (Ephesians 6:1-3, WEB). Your daughter’s current path is one of rebellion, and it will only lead to heartache and destruction if she does not repent and turn back to the Lord. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her heart and draw her back to the truth of God’s Word, restoring her relationship with you, her family, and most importantly, with Jesus Christ.
We also lift up your prayer for godly spouses for your daughters—men who will love them as Christ loves the Church, who will honor their faith, and who will lead them in righteousness. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). This is the standard for marriage, and we pray that your daughters will wait on the Lord for husbands who meet this biblical call, rather than settling for relationships that dishonor God.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of deception, manipulation, and rebellion that have ensnared our sister’s daughter. Open her eyes, Lord, to see the truth of this toxic relationship and the sin of living together outside of marriage. Convict her heart, Holy Spirit, and give her the strength to walk away from this ungodly union without looking back. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of control, division, and idolatry that has taken hold, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for the parents of this young man—expose their enabling behavior and bring conviction to their hearts. Lord, we ask that You move swiftly to separate this young man from your daughter, removing him from her life and restoring her to her family. Break the financial and emotional burdens that have been unjustly placed upon her, and restore her peace, joy, and gratitude for the blessings You have given her—her family, her job, her studies, and her faith.
Lord, we pray for restoration in every area of her life. Restore her godly personality, her love for her family, and her passion for You. Renew her mind and guard her heart against the lies of the enemy. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from further harm.
Father, we also pray for godly spouses for your daughters—men after Your own heart who will love them as Christ loves the Church. Prepare their hearts, Lord, to recognize and wait for Your perfect will in marriage.
Finally, Lord, we pray for a blessed holiday season for this family, filled with Your love, peace, and joy that surpasses all understanding. Protect them from further attacks of the enemy and let Your light shine brightly in their home.
