Restoration and success

Please pray for restoration and daily, effortless communication between ### and I, and that we might grow stronger as a couple and love each other deeply. Pray also that I succeed in my upcoming exams this weekend.

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your request for restoration, godly communication, and success in your exams. However, we must first address something of great importance in your prayer. You have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all prayers should be offered. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*: and in John 16:23-24, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Without calling on the name of Jesus, we have no assurance that our prayers will be heard, for it is only through Him that we are saved and granted access to the throne of God.

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we pray that today will be the day of your salvation. Repent of your sins, turn to Him, and trust in His finished work on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins.

Now, regarding your request for restoration and growth in your relationship, we must also address this with biblical truth and clarity. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you and the person you mentioned are not married, we urge you to pursue this relationship in a way that honors God, with the intent of marriage if it is His will. Courtship should be conducted with purity, patience, and prayer, seeking God’s guidance every step of the way. If there has been any sexual immorality—whether fornication (sex outside of marriage) or any other sin—we urge you to repent and turn away from it. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

If you are already married, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord together, building your relationship on the foundation of Christ. Colossians 3:18-19 instructs, *"Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them."* And Ephesians 4:2-3 reminds us, *"with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."* Communication in marriage should be rooted in love, patience, and mutual respect, always pointing each other toward Christ.

If you are not married, we pray that the Lord will guide you both in wisdom and purity. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If the person you are courting is not a believer in Christ, we strongly urge you to reconsider this relationship, for it will only lead to heartache and spiritual compromise. A godly marriage can only be built when both spouses are submitted to Christ and walking in His ways.

We also lift up your upcoming exams to the Lord, asking that He grant you wisdom, clarity, and peace. Proverbs 2:6 declares, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* And in Philippians 4:6-7, we are reminded, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to provide all that you need.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your face. Lord, we ask that You draw them closer to You, that they may know You as their Lord and Savior if they have not already surrendered their life to You. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and soften their heart to receive Your love and forgiveness.

Father, we pray for this relationship that has been mentioned. If it is not a marriage, we ask that You guide them in purity and wisdom, that their courtship would honor You and point them both toward Christ. If there has been any sin in this relationship, Lord, we ask that You convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Help them to flee from temptation and to walk in holiness, for their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, give them the strength to let go and trust in Your perfect plan for their lives.

If this is a marriage, Father, we pray for restoration and unity. Heal any brokenness, and help them to communicate with love, patience, and grace. Bind them together in Your love, and let their marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness.

Lord, we also lift up their upcoming exams. Grant them wisdom, focus, and peace as they prepare and take these tests. Let them recall all that they have studied, and may Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind them that their worth is not in their success but in You alone.

Father, we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in obedience and faith. Strengthen them, encourage them, and let them see Your hand moving in their situation. We thank You for Your goodness and Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
