Beloved of All
I join you in lifting your family before the Lord and thank you for sharing this burden so honestly. Your love for your children and your desire to see them walk in wisdom and holiness is clear, and I am praying with you for God's protection, clarity and restoration in your home.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting alone in His shed blood and finished work on the cross for our salvation and protection. We thank You that nothing is impossible for You and that You hear the prayers of Your people.
We lift up this younger daughter to You. Surround her with Your protection and give her clear wisdom today. Help her to weigh faithfully the matters of her health, her busy schedule, the responsibility of caring for her dog, and the financial cost of moving. Give her a settled and discerning mind to see what is best and to resist pressure that would lead her away from what is good. Keep her steadfast and content, and guard her heart from influences that would draw her down a dark path. Strengthen her to stand firm in what is right.
We also lift up the older daughter. Lord, in Your mercy open her eyes to see the seriousness of living together outside of marriage. Your Word teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. We do not ask You to bless what is outside Your design, but we ask You to bring conviction, repentance and healing. Draw her to Yourself, grant her godly sorrow that leads to life, and lead her away from a destructive and toxic relationship. Whether that means a call to repentance and separation or to pursue holiness through marriage in the Lord according to Your will, we ask that You would make Your way clear and give her courage to follow You.
We ask for Your protection over this son as well, guarding him from hatred, jealousy and spite. Guard all of these children from jealousy, manipulation and every form of spiritual harm. We rest in the truth that Christ has overcome all evil and that by His wounds we are healed, and we ask for Your healing and peace to rest on this mother and on each child.
Father, bring peace where there has been havoc. Remove harmful influences from this family and work even in the hearts of those who have caused hurt, that they too might come to know Your truth and grace. Give this parent continued strength, patience and hope as she trusts You day by day.
We commit this family to Your care, asking for divine intervention, wisdom and unity that honors You. May Your will be done in each life, and may this home be strengthened in faith, love and obedience to Your Word.
