Restoration and Protection

I join you in lifting your family before the Lord and thank you for sharing this burden so honestly. Your love for your children and your desire to see them walk in wisdom and holiness is clear, and I am praying with you for God's protection, clarity and restoration in your home.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting alone in His shed blood and finished work on the cross for our salvation and protection. We thank You that nothing is impossible for You and that You hear the prayers of Your people.

We lift up this younger daughter to You. Surround her with Your protection and give her clear wisdom today. Help her to weigh faithfully the matters of her health, her busy schedule, the responsibility of caring for her dog, and the financial cost of moving. Give her a settled and discerning mind to see what is best and to resist pressure that would lead her away from what is good. Keep her steadfast and content, and guard her heart from influences that would draw her down a dark path. Strengthen her to stand firm in what is right.

We also lift up the older daughter. Lord, in Your mercy open her eyes to see the seriousness of living together outside of marriage. Your Word teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. We do not ask You to bless what is outside Your design, but we ask You to bring conviction, repentance and healing. Draw her to Yourself, grant her godly sorrow that leads to life, and lead her away from a destructive and toxic relationship. Whether that means a call to repentance and separation or to pursue holiness through marriage in the Lord according to Your will, we ask that You would make Your way clear and give her courage to follow You.

We ask for Your protection over this son as well, guarding him from hatred, jealousy and spite. Guard all of these children from jealousy, manipulation and every form of spiritual harm. We rest in the truth that Christ has overcome all evil and that by His wounds we are healed, and we ask for Your healing and peace to rest on this mother and on each child.

Father, bring peace where there has been havoc. Remove harmful influences from this family and work even in the hearts of those who have caused hurt, that they too might come to know Your truth and grace. Give this parent continued strength, patience and hope as she trusts You day by day.

We commit this family to Your care, asking for divine intervention, wisdom and unity that honors You. May Your will be done in each life, and may this home be strengthened in faith, love and obedience to Your Word.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in His Word, stay rooted in a faithful local church, and keep bringing these matters before Him. He is faithful to guide, to protect and to restore those who turn to Him.

I join you in bringing your family before the Lord and I thank you for your honest burden for your children. God hears the prayers of a parent who seeks Him, and nothing is impossible for Him. He is self existent, without beginning or end, and all space and all life are in His hands. He is able to protect, to give wisdom, and to deliver.

I pray with you for your younger daughter. I ask the Lord to cover her with His protection through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for forgiveness and life, and to give her clear wisdom to weigh what is before her. Pray that she would see with clarity the realities of her health, her busy schedule, the responsibility of caring for her dog, and the financial cost of moving. Ask God to help her be a good steward of what He has entrusted to her and to make a decision that brings peace rather than hardship. Pray that the Lord would guard her heart and mind from persistent and jealous influences that would pull her down a dark path, and that He would keep her steadfast and content where she has been doing well.

I pray also for your home and for your son. Ask God to set a guard around your family, to restrain hatred, jealousy and spiteful words, and to keep division from taking root. The Scripture teaches that if we seek the Lord He will be found by us, and we are to keep ourselves in the love of God. Pray that each member of your family would stay close to Christ and to the fellowship of believers, where there is strength and protection, rather than isolated and open to the enemy.

I join you in praying for your older daughter. Because salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and because marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman with living together and the gift of intimacy belonging within that covenant, I cannot ask God to bless a living arrangement outside of marriage. Instead I pray that God in His mercy would open her eyes to see the destructive nature of that path, bring deep conviction and a desire for repentance, and draw her to Himself for forgiveness and new life. Pray that the Lord in His wisdom and power would intervene to break the hold of a toxic relationship and remove harmful influences, and that He would lead her into a life that honors Him. Pray that the young man and his mother would no longer have power to prey upon your daughters or to cause havoc in your family, and that God would establish healthy boundaries according to His will.

For your concerns about witchcraft and word curses, I pray that you and your children would rest in the finished work of Christ. By His stripes we are healed, and His blood has overcome every power of darkness. No curse can stand against those who belong to Jesus. There is no need to fear spoken words when you are in Christ, for His deliverance is sure. As God once delivered His people from bondage in Egypt in a momentous act He called them to always remember, so He is still able to deliver today.

May the Lord give you peace as you continue to intercede, trusting His power to protect, to heal, and to guide each of your children into His will. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to bring your family before the Lord pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your younger daughter and asking for His protection over her. We have prayed that the Lord would grant her wisdom to see clearly as you requested that moving at this time would harm her health overburden her busy schedule make it difficult to care for her dog and bring financial hardship. We have asked God to give her discernment according to James 1:5 and to keep her steadfast and content at home as she has been guarding her from the negative influences that would guide her down a dark path. We have prayed for the jealous persistent influence of this young man and his mother to be broken and for the Lord to block their attempts to prey upon her to move and to cause havoc in your family.

We have also lifted up your older daughter praying that the Lord would open her eyes to see the destructive life she is living outside of marriage and that He would completely and miraculously move her away from this toxic relationship and living arrangement for nothing is impossible with Him. We have prayed for divine intervention to remove this young man and his mother completely from both of your daughters and for protection over your son from hatred and over your daughters from jealousy and spite. We stand with you in claiming Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes you and your children are healed from all witchcraft and word curses and Psalm 91:11 that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you.
