We are here with you, seeking God's will together, for you and especially for your current need. Peace and sleep are both from the Lord and we trust He will provide them for you.
The Bible tells us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4 6-7 WEB.
When Jesus' disciples were afraid and in a storm He calmed the storm and then said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm. Matthew 8 26 WEB. Jesus calmed the storm and then asked why they were afraid. Jesus can calm your anxieties and bring peace to your mind and body.
Jesus also slept during a storm and on a boat and pillow. And behold, a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. Matthew 8 24 WEB.
In Psalm 127 we read, It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, eating the bread of toil; for so he gives his beloved sleep. Psalm 127 2 WEB.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to you now. Thank you for your goodness. We ask you to give sleep to our ###. Please remove their anxiety and cause their mind and body to rest in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your faithfulness. In Jesus Christ name we pray.
Do not be anxious about not mentioning Jesus in your prayer. Just make sure to end in Jesus name and you will be praying in Jesus name. When you pray in Jesus name you are accessing God the same as Jesus does. Jesus said, Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. John 16 23-24 WEB. Jesus also said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14 6 WEB.
