We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these earnest requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, we know that it is only through Your Son, Jesus, that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we are so grateful for the privilege to approach You with our needs.
Father, we ask for restful sleep for this dear one. Your Word tells us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." Lord, we pray that You would calm any anxiety, quiet any racing thoughts, and bring deep, restorative sleep. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they wake refreshed and strengthened in body, soul, and spirit.
We also pray for divine protection over every area of their life. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, shielding them from harm, danger, and any schemes of the enemy. Protect them from accidents, illness, and any form of evil. Your Word declares in Psalm 121:7-8, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." We claim this promise over their life today.
Father, we bring before You the need for financial provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your faithfulness to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Lord, open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that there will not be room enough to receive them (Malachi 3:10). Provide for medical treatments, surgery, and all financial obligations. Give wisdom in managing resources and guide them to opportunities that will bring provision. We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear in the name of Jesus and declare that You are their source and supply.
We also pray for healing and strength as they face medical treatments and surgery. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals, giving them wisdom and skill. Bring comfort, peace, and a swift recovery. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise and declare healing over their body.
Father, we encourage this dear one to continue seeking You with all their heart. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
