We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace. Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and the promise that You hear the cries of Your children. We stand on Your Word, which assures us that when we call on You, You will answer.
Heavenly Father, we first ask for the gift of restful sleep for our brother or sister. You have designed our bodies to need rest, and we know that it is in sleep that You restore and renew us. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of insomnia or anxiety that may be stealing peace and rest. Your Word declares in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* We pray that You would calm any racing thoughts, ease any physical discomfort, and grant deep, restorative sleep. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for divine protection over every area of their life. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, shielding them from harm, accidents, illness, and any schemes of the enemy. Protect their coming and going, their home, their health, and their loved ones. Your Word promises in Psalm 121:7-8, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."* We claim this promise over their life today.
Father, we bring before You the need for financial provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would open doors of opportunity, bless the work of their hands, and provide wisdom in managing resources. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack or fear concerning finances, and we declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Provide for their medical treatments, surgery, and every need that arises, so that they may lack no good thing.
We also lift up their health, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon them. Guide the hands of the medical professionals treating them, and grant wisdom in every decision regarding their care. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this healing and restoration over their body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the name above every name, through which we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we can approach You with confidence. We pray that if our brother or sister has not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them experience the peace and forgiveness that comes only through Christ.
We close this prayer by declaring that all these things we ask in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
