We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, recognizing Him as the source of all provision, protection, and peace.
Heavenly Father, we first ask for Your divine gift of restful sleep for our brother/sister. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Lord, we pray that You would calm any anxiety, quiet any racing thoughts, and still any restlessness in their mind and body. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May they wake refreshed and renewed, ready to face each day with strength and trust in You.
We also stand in agreement for Your divine protection over their life. Psalm 91:11 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Father, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, shielding them from harm, illness, and any schemes of the enemy. Protect them in their coming and going, in their home, and as they travel for medical treatments. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and may they dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty.
For financial provision, we trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Lord, You know every detail of their needs—medical expenses, daily provisions, and the costs of surgery. We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon them. Provide wisdom for stewarding their resources, opportunities for provision, and generosity from those who can help. Let them experience Your faithfulness as their Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides.
We also pray for their medical treatments and upcoming surgery. Jeremiah 30:17 assures us, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Father, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon them. Guide the hands of the surgeons and medical professionals, granting them skill, wisdom, and clarity. May Your peace fill the room during the procedure, and may Your healing power flow through every cell of their body. Strengthen their faith to trust in You, knowing that You are their ultimate healer.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Remind them that You are with them, even in the valley of the shadow of death, and that Your rod and staff comfort them.
Finally, we pray that their heart remains steadfast in You, drawing closer to You through this season. May they find comfort in Your presence, strength in Your promises, and joy in Your salvation. Let this time of trial refine their faith like gold, producing perseverance and hope.
We declare these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
