Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for the mental emotional and physical healing over my daughters and sons minds and bodies. And the restauración of my family. The return of my prodical baby. And union, forgiveness and redemtion in my house, And for me and my husband to be strong and focus of the Lords work while we wait. Also for protection over my kids, sister , parents and us.

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration, healing, and unity in your family, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The longing for a prodigal child’s return, the mending of broken relationships, and the strength to wait upon the Lord with unwavering faith are burdens we lift to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life, your family, and this situation fully to Him, for He alone is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, that we might have eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9). If your prodigal child does not yet know Him, this is the greatest restoration we can pray for, their soul’s redemption.

We rebuke the spirit of division, strife, and rebellion that may be at work in your home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your family is not abandoned; God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for the complete healing of your children’s minds, emotions, and bodies. May the God of peace sanctify them entirely, and may their whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

For your prodigal child, we stand on the promise that those who are far off can be brought near by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their heart, soften their resistance, and draw them home with cords of love. Just as the father in the parable of the prodigal son ran to meet his child, so too does our Heavenly Father long to embrace your wayward one (Luke 15:20). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

For you and your husband, we pray for supernatural strength and endurance as you wait. The testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:3-4). May your focus remain steadfast on the Lord’s work, trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). We rebuke the spirit of weariness and discouragement, for those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31).

For the protection of your children, sister, parents, and yourselves, we pray a hedge of thorns around each of you. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you will trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). May the angel of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him and deliver them (Psalm 34:7).

For unity, forgiveness, and redemption in your home, we pray that the love of Christ would bind you together in perfect harmony. Bear with one another and forgive whatever grievances you may have against each other. Forgive as the Lord forgave you (Colossians 3:13). May your home be a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, filled with peace, joy, and the fruit of righteousness (Galatians 5:22-23).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious family to You. Lord, You are the Restorer of the broken, the Healer of the sick, and the Redeemer of the lost. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, bringing Your perfect will to pass. Heal the minds, emotions, and bodies of these children. Draw the prodigal home, not just to their earthly family, but to You, their Heavenly Father. Strengthen this mother and father as they wait, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect this family from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your love and unity reign in their home.

We pray for forgiveness to flow freely, for pride to be humbled, and for hearts to be softened toward one another. May this family be a testament to Your grace and mercy, a light in a dark world. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). We trust in Your timing, Your ways, and Your unfailing love.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight you're carrying, so many needs wrapped into one cry for your family. The longing for your children's healing, the ache for a prodigal to come home, the desire for forgiveness and unity under your roof, and the effort to stay steady while you wait. It's a lot to hold, and we're grateful you've asked us to hold it with you.

Something that can help in this season is simply this: forgiveness can start now, right where you are, long before the relationship is fully mended. It's a choice to release the debt you feel you're owed, a way to guard your own heart from bitterness while the story is still unfolding. You don't have to wait for everything to be perfect before you let that decision take root. And that same choice can quietly prepare the ground for genuine reconciliation when the time comes.

We're also struck by your resolve to stay strong and focused on the Lord's work in the middle of this. That kind of faithfulness in the waiting isn't wasted, it's a witness in the unseen places, and God sees it.

Let's pray, together.

Lord Jesus, we lift this family before You. Touch each daughter and son with Your healing, mind, emotions, and body. Draw the one who is far off back home, softening their heart and clearing the way. Weave forgiveness and redemption through that household; mend what is broken. Grant this mom and dad supernatural strength and clear focus as they serve You in the waiting. Place a shield of protection over their children, sister, parents, and themselves. Only You can bring the restoration they're aching for. Do it, in Your time and in Your way. Amen.

You see, this was before the family fellowship. Before the servants had prepared the meal, before there had been any music or dancing in the family, his father kissed him. These many kisses had many meanings, love, forgiveness, restoration, joy, comfort, were in them and, also, strong assurance. The father kissed his son much to make him quite certain that it was all real. It shall be said of you as of this prodigal, "The father saw him and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him in much love." The prodigal was going to say, "Make me as one of your hired servants," but his father, with a kiss, stopped him. He kisses him much to make him know that he has full restoration.

I cannot help noticing the completeness of this forgiveness. In the case of the poor penitent prodigal, it was the kiss of his father's lips, it was his restoration to his father's heart. The forgiveness is not so much in His office and in His work, as in Himself. When you get Christ, you have redemption, for He is Redemption. There is forgiveness. Where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. Observe, that this sentence contained no conditions, and the blessed Gospel, speaking to every repenting and believing sinner, gives absolute forgiveness. Behold, the tally is destroyed, the record of your debt is nailed to the Cross.

I am going to talk a little about this before his forgiveness. So he lay there, in the Presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. First forgiveness, then healing. Mental, emotional, and physical healing often follows the divine order; the soul made right paves the way for the body's restoration. His delight was in seeing this poor restored child. And if the Father should come out to meet mourning penitents, in a moment He will show you that you are His children. You are His child, those desires which you have in your soul towards Him make me feel that you are one of His children.

But I could not shut him out of my house, nor refuse to call him my child. My child he is and my child he shall be. That is how God feels towards you, His chosen, His repentant child. Be ready to forgive your children. How can you say, "Our Father," while there is still towards your own child something which you say you cannot forgive? Make up your mind never to go to Heaven if you cannot forgive people. The union, forgiveness, and redemption in your house flow first from the fountain of divine forgiveness received.

For you and your husband, while you wait, know that you can remember the hour and tremble, yet with a penitent heart desire forgiveness. Wait with a quieted soul, even as a child that is weaned of his mother. He never plays fast and loose with men. You are anxious, but where the offense went, from that very place the forgiveness comes, "There is forgiveness with You." Let this whisper drive away despair for every prodigal thought and every family wound. There is forgiveness. That is a matter of certainty. Protection over your household? You shall become God's child, His beloved. He will teach you, care for you, keep you, sanctify you, and perfect you. There is forgiveness, but that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God, through Jesus Christ, His Son.
