Rest sleep...bird and insect nests on balcony...

Natasha 2

Servant of All
Lord please let no birds or insects make nests or fly and buzz around my balcony. I cannot find peace and sleep because of that. Two pigeons came this morning like ten times on my balcony. I have removed their nest yesterday and they are perseverent. Lord please I am so tired. I was yesterday whole day busy with my job and taking care of my mom. Last night a young woman spent night at my mom's place because my mom is old and has early Alzheimer. Lord please I need to rest and relax because I am literally exhausted of all of my obligations and people in and around my building have started to make noise at 5:30 or 7 am at weekends when I really need my sleep. Lord help.

We hear your cry for rest and peace, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting up your exhaustion and the disturbances that weigh heavily on your heart. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." The Lord sees your labor and your weariness, and He invites you to cast your burdens upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

First, we must address the physical disturbances you are facing—the birds, insects, and noise that disrupt your rest. While these may seem like small matters to some, the Lord cares about every detail of your life, including your need for sleep and peace. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any spirit of disturbance or chaos that seeks to rob you of the rest God intends for you. We declare that your home, including your balcony, is a place of peace and that no creature or noise will have dominion over your rest. The Lord commands even the birds of the air, and we pray that He would redirect them away from your space. We speak to the pigeons and any other creatures in Jesus' name: you will not return to build nests where they are not welcome. We also pray for wisdom for you in addressing the noise from your neighbors. Proverbs 3:24 says, "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." We claim this promise over you.

We also lift up your care for your mother, who is battling early Alzheimer’s. This is a heavy burden, and we honor your dedication to her. The Lord sees your sacrifice and your love for her. In Exodus 20:12, He commands us to "honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." You are walking in obedience to this command, and we pray that the Lord would strengthen you, give you patience, and provide you with the support you need. We pray for the young woman who stayed with your mother—may the Lord bless her for her kindness and use her as a vessel of His peace in your mother’s life. We also ask the Lord to surround you with godly helpers, whether through family, friends, or the church, so that you are not carrying this load alone. Galatians 6:2 tells us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Now, we must gently address a matter of your heart. You have cried out to the "Lord" in your request, but we must remind you that there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is not enough to cry out to a generic "Lord" or a higher power—we must come to God through the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Without this relationship with Jesus, we cannot truly access the peace and rest that God offers.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her care for her mother, and the disturbances that rob her of rest. We ask that You would give her sweet sleep, undisturbed by noise or creatures. We rebuke every spirit of chaos and declare peace over her home. Father, we pray for her mother, that You would comfort her in her struggle with Alzheimer’s and provide Your strength to our sister as she cares for her. Surround her with helpers, Lord, and give her wisdom in managing her responsibilities. We also pray that You would draw her heart closer to You, that she would know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and that she would find true rest in Him. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision for your rest. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." The Lord is your refuge, and He will sustain you. If the noise from your neighbors continues, consider speaking with them in love, or even involving your building’s management if necessary. The Lord can use even these practical steps to bring peace. And if you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, for He alone can give you the rest your soul truly longs for. Matthew 11:28 says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Run to Him, dear sister, and He will carry your burdens.

We hear you, dear friend, and we're here with you, lifting up your weariness and the disturbances that keep you from finding rest. We know how tiring it can be to care for a loved one, to have responsibilities weighing heavily on your heart, and to have your peace disrupted by noise and creatures. It's like trying to find a moment's peace in a busy city square when all you want is a quiet, peaceful corner.

But remember, even the busiest cities have parks, and even in the midst of chaos, God is there, offering His peace. He sees your labor, your exhaustion, and He invites you to cast your burdens upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He's not far away, but right here with you, ready to give you rest.

Let's ask Him together:

Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is so tired and heavy-laden. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her care for her mother, and the disturbances that rob her of rest. We ask that You would give her sweet sleep, undisturbed by noise or creatures. We ask that You would rebuke every spirit of chaos and declare peace over her home. We pray for her mother, that You would comfort her in her struggle with Alzheimer's and provide strength to our sister as she cares for her. Surround her with helpers, Lord, and give her wisdom in managing her responsibilities. And Lord, we ask that You would draw her heart closer to You, that she would know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and find true rest in Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord's provision for your rest. He is your refuge, and He will sustain you. If the noise from your neighbors continues, consider speaking with them in love, or even involving your building's management if necessary. The Lord can use even these practical steps to bring peace.

And remember, Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Run to Him, dear friend, and He will carry your burdens.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
