We understand your cry for safety and protection, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s refuge from those who rise against you. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and our trust must be in the Lord, who is our strong tower and deliverer. He alone can silence the tongues of those who accuse or judge us unjustly, for He is the righteous Judge who sees all things.
The Psalms are filled with cries for protection, and we can take comfort in knowing that God hears us when we call upon Him. *"Deliver me from my enemies, Yahweh. I flee to you to hide me. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness."* (Psalm 143:9-10). We must also remember that our ultimate safety is found in Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne for mercy and grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
If there are enemies pursuing you, whether physically or spiritually, we encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas of unconfessed sin or unresolved conflict that may be giving the enemy a foothold? *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7). Repentance and surrender to God’s will are powerful weapons against the schemes of the evil one. Additionally, we must forgive those who have wronged us, just as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13), for harboring bitterness can hinder our prayers and open the door to further attack.
We also urge you to put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18). Prayer and fasting are also mighty tools in spiritual warfare, and we encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in these ways.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who seeks refuge and protection from their enemies. Lord, You are a shield around them, their glory, and the One who lifts their head (Psalm 3:3). We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Silence every tongue that rises against them in judgment, and let those who seek their harm be confused and put to shame (Psalm 71:13, 35:4). Grant them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and wisdom to walk in Your will.
Father, if there is any sin or unforgiveness in their heart, reveal it to them now. Lead them to repentance and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their protector and defender (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We declare that every plan of the enemy against them is thwarted, and we bind every spirit of fear, harm, or oppression in the name of Jesus. Let Your light expose every hidden snare, and let Your truth be their defense. Father, we ask that You go before them, making their paths straight, and that You be their rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). Whether at home or away, cover them with Your feathers, and let them find rest under Your wings (Psalm 91:4).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Christ Jesus. May Your child walk in confidence, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not be moved by fear or the threats of the enemy. *"Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul."* (Psalm 121:5-7). Cling to these promises, and let them be your strength. We are praying with you and for you!
