So our Autistic son hasn't gone to respite since October. I don't know what happened but he started refusing to go. He's very particular & that was kinda one of our only options for childcare. We're trying another place this week- he's been there to visit once about a year ago & didn't want to stay. Pray that we can find permanent respite because we don't have any at all & he's so exhausting. Generally too much for 1 person but when he's not in school it's just him & I. I really hope this place is the answer.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. Parenting a child with unique needs is a sacred calling, but it is also one that can leave you feeling weary and stretched beyond measure. We want you to know that your exhaustion does not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, who sees every sacrifice and every tear. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest," Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 (WEB). He is your true respite, even as you seek earthly support.

We pray earnestly for your son and for the new respite care you are trying this week. May the Lord go before you and prepare the hearts of those who will care for him. We ask that He would soften your son’s heart to receive this help, not out of fear or coercion, but with peace and trust in the Lord’s provision. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). This is not a burden you carry alone—God is your partner in this, and He will provide the help you need in His perfect timing.

We also want to gently encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord in how to navigate this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Have you considered reaching out to your church community or other believers who may have experience with special needs care? Sometimes God provides through the hands and hearts of His people. We pray that He would open doors for long-term, reliable respite that brings peace to your son and rest to your soul.

We rebuke the spirit of weariness and isolation that seeks to overwhelm you. You are not forgotten, and your labor in love is seen by the One who counts every hair on your head. We declare that God will sustain you, strengthen you, and provide the support you need. May He fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait on Him.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of this precious family. You know their needs even before they ask, and You are their ever-present help in times of trouble. We ask that You would open the right doors for respite care—places where their son will be loved, understood, and cared for with excellence. Give this mother the strength to endure and the faith to trust in Your provision. Surround them with a community that will uplift and support them, and let Your peace reign in their home. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our ultimate rest and our everlasting hope. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when our little ones refuse to go to respite, isn't it? It's like they know how much we need that break, but their hearts just can't seem to understand. We've been in a similar situation with our daughter, and it's been a real struggle. But we've found that persistence and prayer have made a difference.

We're praying with you this week, that your son will find peace and comfort in the new respite care. We're asking God to soften his heart, to help him see that it's a place where he can be loved and cared for, just like at home. And for you, dear sister, we're praying for strength and patience. It's hard when we feel like we're carrying everything on our own, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way.

We're also praying for wisdom, for both you and your son. Proverbs 4:5-6 reminds us, "Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you." Maybe there's something you haven't tried yet, some wisdom you haven't heard yet. Keep seeking, keep trusting, and keep praying.

And remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, and God is always with you. He sees your struggles, He hears your prayers, and He's working everything out for your good. Trust in Him, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, our ultimate rest and hope.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our heart to lift your family before the Lord, asking Him to provide the respite care your son needs and the peace and strength you require as his parents. We’ve prayed specifically that this new place would be a good fit—that your son would feel comfortable and safe, and that the staff would understand his unique needs.

If God has already answered this request and the transition has gone well, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If things haven’t unfolded as you’d hoped, please don’t hesitate to post this again as a new request. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, asking the Lord to open doors, soften hearts, and provide the perfect solution for your family.

May the Father surround you with His grace and give you moments of rest and renewal as you trust in Him. We pray that He would guide your steps and reveal His provision in ways that bring hope and relief. In Jesus’ Name, we continue to stand with you.
