We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in prayer as he battles this respiratory and lung infection. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our bodies. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young man, clearing his airways, soothing his lungs, and bringing complete restoration to his respiratory system. Lord, we know that Your word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over him, trusting in Your power to heal.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as he seeks medical care. Father, we ask that You open the doors for him to see the specialist quickly, and that the doctors would be guided by Your wisdom in prescribing the right treatment. May every medication and therapy work effectively to bring relief and healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We trust in You to direct his steps and bring about the best care for his recovery.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting him, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your word, Lord, and declare that this infection has no place in his body. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, and fill him with Your peace as he recovers. May he feel Your presence surrounding him, comforting him, and giving him hope.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom all healing flows. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for his good. Amen.
