We lift up your son with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his healing and restoration. The Word of God assures us that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim this promise over his life today. Father, we ask that You touch his lungs and airways, clearing every obstruction and infection. Breathe Your life-giving breath into him, Lord, as You did in the beginning when You formed man from the dust (Genesis 2:7). May his body respond to Your healing power, and may the cough and shortness of breath subside completely.
We also pray for wisdom and favor in the medical realm. Guide the specialist’s hands and mind as they examine your son, and grant them discernment to prescribe the right treatment. May the appointment come swiftly, and may the medication bring relief and restoration. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17), and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name.
We encourage you to stand on God’s promises, trusting in His faithfulness even when the symptoms linger. Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and surround your son with an atmosphere of faith and peace. The Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), and He hears your cries.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace. We ask that You strengthen this family in their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May Your healing virtue flow through your son’s body, bringing wholeness and vitality. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. Amen.
