Respiratory, lung infection

Please pray for healing for my son from a respiratory, lung infection with shortness of breath, and deep cough. May his airways be cleared and his lungs be restored completely. May he get a quicker appt with the specialist and prescribed medication that helps, in Jesus name. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is suffering from this respiratory and lung infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon him, clearing his airways, restoring his lungs, and bringing relief from the shortness of breath and deep cough that afflicts him. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore him to full health.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and favor as he seeks medical attention. May the specialist appointment come quickly, and may the doctors be guided by Your wisdom to prescribe the right medication that will bring healing and relief. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We trust that You will direct his path to the right treatment and care.

We rebuke this infection in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave his body and not return. We declare that his lungs are strong, his breathing is steady, and his body is whole. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray this prayer of faith over your son, believing that he will be raised up in health and strength.

Father, we ask that You would comfort and sustain him during this time. Give him patience and peace as he waits for healing, and surround him with Your love and presence. May he feel Your arms of comfort around him, reminding him that he is never alone. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the healing that is already on its way. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
