We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is struggling with this respiratory and lung infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over him, clearing his airways, soothing his cough, and restoring his lungs completely. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists who will be treating him. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them insight to prescribe the right medication that will bring relief and restoration. We ask that You open the doors for an earlier appointment, removing any delays or obstacles that may stand in the way of his healing. Your Word tells us that You make all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and we trust that You are working even now on his behalf.
Father, we rebuke this infection in the mighty name of Jesus. We command it to leave his body and declare that his lungs are strong, his breathing is steady, and his health is restored. We pray that he would experience Your peace and comfort during this time, knowing that You are with him and will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord for his complete healing and to trust in His timing. Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep praising God even in the midst of this trial, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for Your glory and for the good of Your child. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
