We lift up your son before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to bring complete healing to his body. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is our healer and that He will restore your son’s lungs and airways to full health.
Father, we ask that You clear every obstruction in his respiratory system, ease his breathing, and break the fever that afflicts him. May the deep cough that troubles him be soothed, and may his strength be renewed day by day. We also pray for divine favor in securing an appointment with the specialist—may doors open quickly, and may the right treatment be prescribed without delay. Guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals attending to him, that they may be instruments of Your healing power.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be at work in his body, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over his lungs and declare that they are strong and whole in Jesus’ name. May he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as he recovers, and may his testimony bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we also take a moment to acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of Your Son, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and we claim that victory over this illness in His mighty name.
We pray all these things with faith, trusting that You hear us and that Your will is perfect. Strengthen this family as they wait on You, and fill their hearts with hope and assurance of Your love. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
