We lift up your son before the Lord, our Great Physician, who knits together our bodies and holds our very breath in His hands. Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this precious child, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon his lungs and airways. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over him, believing that You are able to restore him completely.
Lord, we pray that You would clear every obstruction in his airways, soothe the inflammation, and bring strength to his lungs. May the cough that troubles him be silenced, and may his breathing become steady and full once again. We ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and specialists who will care for him, granting them wisdom and discernment as they seek the best treatment. Father, we also ask that You move in the scheduling process, arranging for an appointment with the specialist to come quickly, and that the medication prescribed would bring swift and effective relief.
We rebuke the infection that has taken hold in his body, declaring in the name of Jesus that it has no place there. Your Word tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist this sickness and command it to leave, trusting in Your power to bring healing. We also pray for peace to surround your son and your family during this time, knowing that You are in control and that Your love never fails.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved. We are so grateful that through His sacrifice, we have access to Your throne of grace, where we can find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
