We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is suffering from this respiratory and lung infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our bodies. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand over him, clearing his airways, soothing his lungs, and bringing complete restoration. Lord, we pray that the fever would break, the cough would subside, and the shortness of breath would cease. Breathe Your life-giving breath into his lungs, O God, and let him feel Your peace and strength in this time of weakness.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists who are treating him. Father, we ask that You would open the doors for an earlier appointment with the specialist, that they may quickly discern the best course of treatment. Guide their hands and their minds, Lord, and let them prescribe the medication that will bring relief and healing. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love.
We declare Your Word over this situation, Lord: *"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:2-3). We stand on this promise, believing that You are faithful to Your Word. We also remember the words of Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."* We claim this healing in the name of Jesus, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains.
Father, we ask that You would surround your son with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort him and his family during this time, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and remind them that You are working all things together for good.
We rebuke this infection in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave his body. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn. We speak life and health over his lungs and his entire body, trusting that You are restoring him even now.
Lord, we also lift up any fear or anxiety that may be accompanying this illness. Your Word tells us, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray that this peace would flood their hearts and minds, driving out all fear and replacing it with trust in You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in You for complete healing and restoration, believing that Your will is for wholeness and health. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may Your healing power be evident to all who see. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
