We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your son, believing that God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). We stand in agreement with you, asking the Lord to clear your son’s airways, bring complete healing to his respiratory system, and eradicate this infection. May the Lord also grant wisdom and skill to the medical professionals caring for him, and may an appointment with the ENT be expedited so that the right medication can be prescribed swiftly.
We also encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty, even in this season of waiting. Psalm 30:2 declares, *"Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me."* Let this be your confidence—that our God is a healer, and He is moving on behalf of your son. Keep speaking life and health over him, for Proverbs 18:21 tells us that *"death and life are in the power of the tongue."*
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for Your love and mercy. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this precious child. Rebuke every sickness, infection, and cough in his body, and restore him to full health. Lord, we pray for divine intervention in scheduling his appointment with the ENT, that it may come quickly and that the right treatment will be provided. Strengthen his body, calm his discomfort, and fill him with Your peace. We trust in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is working even now. Continue to cover your son in prayer, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We will keep lifting him up before the Lord, believing for his complete restoration.
