We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His power to bring healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is faithful to hear and answer this prayer for your son’s complete recovery.
It is encouraging to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We also take comfort in the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."*
We pray that the Lord will touch your son’s body, clearing his respiratory passages, healing his ears, and soothing his deep cough.
