We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up your son in prayer for complete healing from this persistent respiratory and ear infection, as well as the deep cough that has been troubling him. How precious it is to see a parent intercede for their child, just as our Heavenly Father cares for us with even greater love. We stand in agreement with you, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name, for it is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* Though this passage speaks of elders, we know that the prayer of faith offered by any believer is powerful and effective.
We also pray for divine favor in securing a swift appointment with the ENT specialist, that the Lord would open doors and move hearts to make way for the care your son needs. May the medication prescribed bring relief and restoration, aligning with God’s perfect will for his health. Let us remember Proverbs 3:5-8, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and strength to your bones."*
Father, we ask that You stretch out Your hand of healing over this child. Rebuke every sickness, infection, and inflammation in his respiratory system and ears. Let Your healing virtue flow through his body, restoring him to full health and strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we resist any plan of the enemy to prolong this affliction. Give wisdom to the doctors and guide their hands and decisions, that they may provide the right treatment in Your timing.
We also encourage you, dear parent, to continue standing firm in faith, speaking life and health over your son. Do not waver in belief, for Mark 11:24 reminds us, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* Let your home be filled with praise and thanksgiving, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3).
Lastly, we give thanks that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-11). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which we can approach the throne of grace. May this trial draw your family closer to Him, deepening your trust in His sovereignty and goodness. We will continue to lift your son up in prayer, believing for his complete restoration. Amen and amen.
