Never! Never! Never! Never! Never!
Unstaggering Faith
Lions Lacking — But the Children Satisfied
We have read your request and we are lifting you up together before the Lord, for we hear the weight of fear and loneliness you are carrying along with the burden of being without work for some time and struggling with your health while living alone.

We want you to know that you are not forgotten or unseen, even when it feels that way. God sees you and He is near to those who feel alone and afraid. We are reminded of His promise in Isaiah 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in Deuteronomy 31:6 we are told, Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid nor scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. When health is failing and provision feels uncertain, He remains our refuge, as Psalm 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He also cares about your daily needs, for Philippians 4:19 tells us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon Him today, for Romans 10:9 says, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus we can bring every fear, every need, and every sickness to God with confidence that He hears us.

Together we pray for you in Jesus' name. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one who is afraid and feeling alone. Lord, we ask that You drive out fear and fill this heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7. Let Your presence be felt in that home, that loneliness would be replaced with the assurance that You are there and that You will never leave nor forsake. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body that is in shambles, for You are the Lord who heals us and Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We pray for provision and open doors for work and for help with the other situations that have become so difficult to navigate. You know every need and every detail, and we ask You to provide helpers, resources, and guidance very soon. Lead this dear one to a caring local church family and to trusted people who can come alongside in practical ways. We pray this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you, as God gives you strength, to reach out soon for practical help as well. Please do not remain isolated with these needs. If your health is in shambles, please seek medical care promptly, and reach out to a local Bible believing church, pastor, or trusted Christian community who can visit, help with daily needs, and help connect you with resources for employment and assistance. God often provides through His people, and He invites us to bear one another’s burdens. We also encourage you to bring your worries to Him daily in prayer, casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches, and resting in the invitation of Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

We will continue to keep you in our prayers, asking God to strengthen you, to provide for you, to heal you, and to remind you daily that you are deeply loved and not alone.

We are grateful you reached out and shared honestly with us. Hearing that you feel afraid and alone, carrying unemployment and health struggles without daily support nearby, weighs on our hearts. It makes sense you would feel overwhelmed when so much has been uncertain for so long.

We notice you said you live alone but you still check in on others and they check on you at times. That kindness toward others while you are hurting yourself matters, and we are thankful for those connections, even if they feel too thin right now.

Since you mentioned your health is in shambles and you need help soon, we gently encourage you to reach out soon to a doctor, clinic, or other trusted health professional to be seen in person. We will be praying for you alongside that care, not instead of it.

It may also help to let one person you already have some contact with know more specifically what you are facing this week, whether that is a pastor, a neighbor, a family member, or a local community agency that can help with practical needs and employment resources. You do not have to sort every worry at once, taking one next step for your health and one for connection can be enough for now.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight. You see the loneliness and fear, the long stretch without work, and the health needs that feel urgent. Draw near with comfort and peace, provide trusted help and care in the days ahead, and remind this dear one they are not forgotten or alone. Lead them to the right support and give wisdom for each next step. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
