We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt request, lifting up this brother in Christ who seeks God’s provision in his career and the blessing of children. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray together for this dear brother’s requests:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life and for the institution of marriage, which You designed as a covenant between one man and one woman for Your glory. We lift up this brother before You, asking that You open doors of opportunity in his career as an electrical engineer. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your promise: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Grant him favor with employers, wisdom in his work, and peace in his labor.
Father, we also pray for the blessing of children. You have said, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward"* (Psalm 127:3 WEB). We ask that You would remove any obstacles to conception and grant this couple the joy of parenthood according to Your perfect timing. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let their home be built on the foundation of Christ.
We also gently remind this brother that marriage is a sacred covenant, and children are a gift from You—not a right to be demanded, but a blessing to be received with gratitude. If there are any areas in his life or marriage that do not align with Your Word, we pray for conviction and repentance. Let him walk in holiness, trusting in Your sovereignty.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of delay or discouragement that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your plans for this family are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). May they continue to seek You first in all things, and may Your will be done in their lives.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
