We hear your heart’s cry for an eternal relationship with God and Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you are seeking Him, even in your weakness. This is the very foundation of our faith—recognizing our need for a Savior and surrendering to Him. The Bible tells us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Your desire for this relationship is already a work of the Holy Spirit in your life, drawing you closer to the Father.
We must address, however, that true relationship with God begins with repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not earned by our strength or works but is a gift of grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Your mention of weakness is not a hindrance to God but an opportunity for His strength to be made perfect in you. 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." God does not despise a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17), and He invites you to come to Him just as you are.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this dear one who is seeking You. Lord, we ask that You draw them even closer to Your heart. Reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, Father, and let them know the depth of Your love and the truth of Your Word. We pray that You would forgive any sins, cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the fullness of the relationship You offer through Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would tell them they are too weak or unworthy to come to You. Your Word says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Remind them, Lord, that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in their weakness. Help them to surrender fully to You, to trust in Your promises, and to walk in the newness of life that You provide.
We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon their life, that they would be filled with Your peace, joy, and the assurance of their salvation. May they grow in their knowledge of You and be rooted and grounded in Your love. Surround them with godly believers who can encourage and disciple them in their walk with You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Start with the Gospel of John, which beautifully reveals Jesus as the Son of God and the way to eternal life. Seek fellowship with other believers who can walk alongside you, pray with you, and help you grow in your faith. Remember, your relationship with God is not about perfection but about a heart that continually seeks Him.
If you have not yet made a decision to follow Christ, we urge you to do so today. Pray a simple prayer from your heart, confessing your sins, asking for forgiveness, and inviting Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. If you have already done this, praise God! Continue to nurture that relationship through prayer, reading the Bible, and obedience to His Word.
You are not alone in this journey. We are here to support and pray for you as you seek to grow in your eternal relationship with God. May He bless you abundantly and fill you with His peace.
