We lift this precious family before the throne of grace, asking for the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. We come before You now, trusting in Your mercy and power to restore health and strength to this beloved one.
Lord, Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that You hear our cries and will answer according to Your perfect will. We ask for complete healing—spirit, soul, and body—knowing that nothing is too difficult for You.
We also pray for the family surrounding this dear one. Strengthen them in their weariness, Lord, and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find comfort in Your presence and hope in Your promises, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place here, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. We command every attack of the enemy against this family to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We also ask that You would draw this family closer to You during this time. May they seek Your face more than ever before, finding solace in Your Word and strength in Your presence. If there are any areas where they need to surrender more fully to You, reveal those to them, Lord, and give them the grace to walk in obedience.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we can come boldly before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all.
Amen.
