Father,

You know about my unspoken request for this holiday weekend. I lay that issue at Your feet for guidance according to Your will.

Please let this holiday pass without arguments or any problems with extended family. Please let our holiday meal be filled with blessings and support rather than negative feelings and so on.... Bless us with a happy day full of love and support. AMEN
