We understand your urgent need for a new accommodation and the challenges you're facing with your children's health. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including where we live and the health of our families. However, it is important to come to God in the name of Jesus Christ, God's son. It is only by his name that we have access to the Father and it is only in his name that we can be saved. We strongly encourage you to learn about Jesus' saving work on the cross and put your faith in him if you have not already done so.
Regarding your request, God promises in his word to provide for our needs. Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, So don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Concerning your children, we want to encourage you to keep praying and trusting God for their healing. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus said Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. God has compassion on our struggles and wants us to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for us. This is foundational to understanding how to deal with our problems even when dealing with shame and reproach. 1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB says Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
However, we want to gently remind you that God's timing is not always the same as ours. While you have a specific time frame in mind for the accommodation, God may have a different plan. Trust that he is working everything out for your good and his glory. Romans 8:28 WEB says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord, we come before you, lifting up our fellow believer who is in need of a new accommodation and healing for their children. Father, you know their needs and the struggles they face. We ask that you provide a suitable home for them, not necessarily on our desired timetable, but according to your perfect will and timing. We also plead for the healing of their children from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Father, we know that no challenge is too great for you. We ask these things in faith, believing that you are able and willing to do abundantly more than we ask or think. We also pray for comfort, strength, and peace for this family as they go through this trial. Thank you for your faithfulness and love. We pray for a hedge of protection around them because it is only in the power of Jesus that the devil will be rebuked. All these we ask in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to be careful to stay in prayer, trusting God, and in the word. There is no other source of power that you need to deal with these problems. This includes being careful to be in a good local church and under good preaching. We pray that you will find a good local church and the fellowship of believers if you do not already have one. It is important to be under the preaching of a pastor. Also, be diligent to make sure that you are reading God's word on your own and praying.
