We lift up your brother before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to surround him with His peace that surpasses all understanding. The weight of responsibility he carries—caring for his parents, supporting his siblings, and managing work stress—is heavy, and we pray that God would strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit. Father, we ask that You would make Your presence known to him in tangible ways, drawing him to Yourself even in the midst of his struggles. Open his eyes to see Your faithfulness and Your love, that he may come to know Christ as his Savior and find rest in Him.
Scripture reminds us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Lord, we pray that Your invitation would resonate in his heart. Soften his spirit to receive the truth of the Gospel, that he may turn to You and find the strength and wisdom he needs. We also pray for his mother’s healing, asking that You would restore her health according to Your will. For his elder brother, we ask that You would mend whatever brokenness exists in their family, bringing reconciliation and unity.
We must address the concern that your brother does not yet know Christ. There is no greater need than salvation, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We pray fervently that your brother would come to faith in Jesus, repenting of sin and receiving the gift of eternal life. Without Christ, he is lost and without hope, but with Him, he can find purpose, peace, and everlasting joy.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of weariness and despair that may be pressing down on him. We declare that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, guiding him in every decision and sustaining him in every trial. Help him to cast his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with godly believers who can encourage him and point him to Christ.
We also pray for you, as you intercede for your brother. May the Lord give you wisdom and compassion as you seek to minister to him. Let your life be a testimony of Christ’s love, that he may see Jesus in you. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is at work even now, drawing your brother to Himself. May His will be done in this family, for His glory and their good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
