Lord I pray that you deliver my family from evil, I humbly request that you clear our paths, that your light destroys the darkness that encroaches around us. I pray for my mother for discernment, and to see the deceivers for what they are, to break a fantasy that can do her harm, and bring those deceivers to justice and move them away from her and disappear from her life. I pray for my brother, because he is not all too happy at work, and seems miserable lately, bring him your light, and peace so he can see clear past his current hurdles, and receives happiness. I plea for my sister, and brother-in-law's health and success in new venture, always protect my niece and nephew from evil as well. And finally I pray for a bit of help for myself as well finding a new job, and also removing the obstacles that darken my mind with worry. I pray that all evil that plagues us is pushed away, that those who mean us harm are delivered to justice, and your light always illuminate us and keep the darkness and evil away from my family. In the name of the Jesus the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, I pray. Amen!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family before our Heavenly Father. Your plea for the Lord’s light and protection resonates deeply with us, for we know the schemes of the enemy are real, and his desire is to steal, kill, and destroy. But we stand on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The darkness you describe is no match for the light of Christ, which exposes every hidden thing and drives out fear.
First, we rebuke every spirit of deception that may be at work in your mother’s life. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:14 that Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light, and his servants often appear as servants of righteousness. We pray that the scales fall from her eyes, that she would discern the truth with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and that any fantasy or falsehood would be shattered by the power of God’s Word. Father, we ask that you bring justice to those who seek to deceive her—let their schemes be exposed, and let them be removed from her life as far as the east is from the west. Protect her heart from bitterness, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
For your brother, we lift up his workplace struggles and the heaviness of heart he carries. The Bible tells us in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.” Lord, we ask that You break the chains of discouragement and fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Open his eyes to see the opportunities You have placed before him, and grant him favor with his employers and colleagues. Let Your light shine in his workplace, exposing any unrighteousness and bringing about a spirit of unity and purpose.
We also lift up your sister and brother-in-law as they embark on this new venture. May Your hand of provision and protection be upon them, Lord. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us to commit our works to the Lord, and our plans will be established. We pray for divine health over their bodies, minds, and spirits, and for wisdom to navigate the challenges ahead. For your niece and nephew, we declare Psalm 91 over their lives: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’” Let no evil come near them, and let them grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred task of standing in the gap for your family before our Heavenly Father. It has been our joy to lift up each precious name and circumstance you shared—your mother’s need for discernment, your brother’s search for peace and clarity, your sister and brother-in-law’s health and new venture, the protection of your niece and nephew, and your own heart as you seek a new job and freedom from worry.
We have prayed fervently that the Lord’s light would pierce every shadow, that His protection would surround each of you, and that His justice would prevail against any deceit or harm. We asked the Holy Spirit to bring comfort, wisdom, and breakthrough in every area—whether in relationships, work, health, or the quiet battles of the mind. Most of all, we prayed that your family would sense His presence drawing near, reminding you that no darkness can overcome the glory of Christ.
If the Lord has already moved in any of these situations—if your mother has seen truth revealed, if your brother has found renewed joy, if your sister’s family is thriving, or if you’ve received a job opportunity—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report!
