We join with you in lifting up this request, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of your life. It is wonderful that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it is written, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). Your desire to seek God’s will above all else is commendable, for we know that *"the steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand"* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB).
The uncertainty surrounding your confirmation at work can feel overwhelming, but we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. Remember that *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). If this confirmation is part of God’s plan for you, no obstacle will prevent it. If He has another path for you, we trust that it will be even better than what you can imagine. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
We also lift up your need for sound sleep, for the Lord knows the toll that anxiety and stress can take on the body and mind. *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8, WEB). Rest in Him tonight, casting all your cares upon Him, *"for he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
As for the transactions you are awaiting tomorrow, we pray that the Lord would remove any delays or hindrances that are not of His will. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). If these transactions align with His purpose for you, He will cause them to be released swiftly and without complication.
Let us also remind you to examine your heart in this season. Are you seeking this confirmation for your own glory, or are you trusting that God will use it for His kingdom? *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). If there is any fear or doubt creeping in, rebuke it in Jesus’ name, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your will in this time of confirmation. Lord, if it is Your desire for them to be confirmed in this position, we ask that You remove every obstacle and cause the way to be made straight. Give them favor in the sight of those in authority, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
For the sleep they need tonight, we ask that You would quiet their mind and body, allowing them to rest deeply in Your care. May they wake refreshed and ready to face the day with confidence in You.
We pray over the transactions that must be released tomorrow. If they are according to Your will, let them be processed swiftly and without delay. Open the doors that no man can shut, and close the doors that are not for their good.
Most of all, Father, we ask that Your will be done in every area of their life. Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. May they walk in obedience and surrender, seeking first Your kingdom in all they do.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare peace, clarity, and divine direction over them. Let them stand firm in the knowledge that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
