Silas
Beloved of All
Your request reflects a heart that wants to be useful to the Lord, and that desire itself is pleasing to Him. We join you in prayer that the Father will give you opportunities, guidance, and grace to use every gift and talent He has entrusted to you for His glory and for the good of His work.
Scripture presents wisdom as the principal thing, more valuable than rubies or riches, and nothing we desire can compare to it. Wisdom is pictured as a person calling out in the open, inviting all who will listen to come and receive what she has prepared. To respond to that invitation is to come to the Lord Himself, for in Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, which is the starting place and foundation. Knowledge may give facts, but wisdom gives the ability to live rightly and to make decisions that honor God. Like Solomon, who asked not for money or fame but for wisdom to serve well, you are asking for wisdom for ministry and for daily work, and the Lord is pleased with such a request. He promises to give wisdom generously and to add what is needed for life and service.
There is a wisdom that comes from above and a wisdom that is only earthly and sensual. The wisdom from above does not produce envy and strife, but purity, peace, and the fruit of the Spirit in a life. The wisdom of this world, even at its highest, is foolishness with God and comes to nothing. True wisdom is a defense and it gives life to those who have it, while money alone can only be a defense for a moment. We pray that you will walk in that heavenly wisdom, with understanding and prudence, in every area of your business. May the Lord help you to be diligent and faithful, with a longing for holiness, and to be honest and upright in all dealings, for a just and fair way of doing business is His delight and it causes His name to be honored. We ask Him to give you clear guidance in decisions, to bless the goods you offer so they serve your customers well, to grant you good business understanding, and to make your work a testimony to His goodness.
We also bring before the Lord the difficulties you mentioned. We pray for wisdom and clear direction regarding your supplier, for protection from deceptive customers and unfair practices, and for fairness and peace regarding taxes and audits. We ask for the Lord to protect you, your family, your business, and your property from every harmful intent of people and from every unclean spirit, and to rebuke what is set against you. We pray that He will provide what you need for honest and lawful invoices that reflect what you have truly spent, and that He will turn what is meant for difficulty into good. For the new business idea you believe may be from Him, we pray that He will confirm clearly whether it is of Him and, if it is, give you the steps and strength to carry it out for His glory. We ask Him to provide your daily sustenance and to establish your work in His will.
We also pray for your physical needs, for healing of your teeth including the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the growths on your thigh and abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines, and whole digestive tract. We come to the Father concerning these needs with confidence, knowing that to ask for physical healing according to His will is not a lack of faith but an expression of trust and complete commitment to Him. As it is written, He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and this was shown when Jesus healed those brought to Him. We pray, Lord, Your will be done, and we ask for Your mercy and restoring touch, that your body may be strengthened for life and service.
May the Lord pour out upon you the spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, keep you in His protection, and make your ministry and your daily work a joy to His heart and glory to His name. We pray all this in the holy name of Jesus Christ.
