Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have received your request and we give thanks for your desire to be useful to the Kingdom of God and to bring glory to His Name in all you do. We join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We pray that God will grant you opportunities, guidance, wisdom and grace to use every gift and talent He has given you for His fields and His work. The wisdom of this world terminates here and cannot profit its possessors, but the wisdom that is from God is hidden and foreordained for our glory. We ask that He will fill you with that spiritual wisdom, so that your ministries may be a joy to His heart and bring glory to His Name.
We pray also for the business God has entrusted to you. We ask that He will make you diligent and faithful and keep in you a strong longing for holiness in all your labor. May He give you clear guidance, sound judgment and good business understanding, so that you may make decisions according to His will and that all you do, and all the goods you offer, may serve for His glory and for the true good and satisfaction of those you serve. We pray that your work will be marked by honesty and integrity, and that God will provide for you what is needed for sustenance and for His glory.
We bring before the Lord the difficulties you face. We pray for wisdom and guidance concerning your supplier, that God will show you the right path and give you peace in making decisions. We pray for protection from deceptive customers and from unfair competition, and that God will help you to act justly and uprightly before all people and before the authorities He has appointed for good order. We pray that He will grant you favor and a quiet and peaceable life in your work, and that if you must face tax officials or audits, you will be found faithful and truthful, with all documents in order. We pray that you will receive true and lawful invoices that accurately reflect what you have spent, and that God will turn every difficulty around for good as you walk in integrity before Him. We pray also for your new business idea. If it is from the Lord, we ask that He will confirm it clearly to you by His wisdom and providence and help you to carry it out for His glory. If it is not His will, we pray He will make that clear also and lead you in the better way.
We pray for His powerful protection over you, your family, your business and all that He has entrusted to you. Where there is opposition from people or from unclean spirits, we ask that God will rebuke every evil intention and guard you by His power, keeping you in Christ.
We also lift up your body to the Lord who is the physician of soul and body. We pray for complete healing for your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the growths on your thigh and abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. We ask the Lord in His mercy to bring restoration and wholeness according to His will, and to give you strength and patience as you wait upon Him.
Continue to seek Him daily, to take His Word into your hands and your home, and to call upon Him for wisdom, for He gives generously to those who ask. May He keep you faithful in small things and great, and may all your work and life be for His glory.
We stand with you in prayer for all these things in the Name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and salvation.
