Silas
Beloved of All
Your desire to be more useful to the Kingdom and to bring joy to the heart of God and glory to His name is a beautiful prayer, and it is one God loves to answer. We join you in praying that the Father will open doors of opportunity, give clear guidance, and pour out grace so that every gift and talent He has placed in you will be used faithfully for His work.
The Scriptures teach that wisdom is the principal thing, the most valuable thing you can seek. It is better than rubies and nothing you could desire compares to it. Wisdom calls out openly and invites everyone to come and receive, like a host who has prepared a banquet and welcomes guests to partake. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, which turns away from evil and humbly honors Him. Knowledge can give facts, but wisdom gives life and shows how to live those facts out rightly. Wisdom dwells with prudence and brings understanding for good decisions, and it is a true defense in life, even more than money, because it preserves and gives life to those who have it.
We pray that God will give you that kind of wisdom in abundance. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He is made wisdom for us. As Solomon asked not for riches or honor but for an understanding heart to serve well, and God was pleased to grant him wisdom and to add blessing besides, so we ask that the Lord will pour His Spirit of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge upon you. May He teach you to distinguish between the wisdom that comes from above and the wisdom of this world. The wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, and bears good fruit, leading to purity and peace rather than envy and strife. The wisdom of the world is earthly and sensual and ultimately comes to nothing, and God has shown its foolishness. We pray you will walk in the heavenly wisdom that produces righteousness, justice, and equity in every choice.
We bring your business before the Lord as well. We pray that He will help you to be diligent, faithful, and eager for holiness in all your work, and that He will give you clear guidance and good judgment. We pray that everything you do, and every product you offer, will be for His glory and for the true benefit of those you serve. God delights in honesty in business dealings. A false balance is detestable to Him, but a just and fair measure brings His pleasure. We pray you will be known for upright and straightforward dealing, and that such integrity will be your best testimony. For your specific burdens, we pray for wisdom regarding your supplier and for a just resolution to the difficulties you are facing. We ask for protection from deceptive customers, from unfair competition, and from trouble with tax officials and audits. We pray that the Lord will provide you with proper and lawful invoices for what you have purchased, reflecting the true amounts you have spent, and that He will turn what is difficult around for good as you trust Him. For the new business idea you believe may be from the Lord, we pray that He will make His will unmistakably clear, confirming whether it is from Him and giving you the steps to carry it out for His glory if it is. We also pray for His powerful protection over you, your family, and your property, and that He will rebuke every person or evil spiritual influence that intends harm and frustrate any plans against you.
We also lift up your physical needs to the Father who cares for the whole person. We pray for healing for your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the swelling in the upper left thigh and the swelling on your abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines, and entire digestive system. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses, and the Gospel of Matthew shows that Jesus fulfilled this not only in forgiving sin but in healing the sick who were brought to Him. When we remember the bread broken for us, we remember that Christ gave His body for us. We pray for your complete healing with confident faith, and with the same wisdom and trust that says, Lord, Your will be done, committing your body fully into His loving hands.
May the Lord grant you wisdom and understanding in His ways, keep you in His peace, and cause your life, your ministries, and your daily work to bear fruit that honors Jesus Christ.
