Request for prayer support 🙏

Your request to be more useful to the Kingdom is a beautiful desire and we join you in prayer that the Father will give you open doors, clear guidance, wisdom and grace to use every gift and talent He has entrusted to you so that your service brings joy to His heart and glory to His name through Jesus Christ. We pray that He will help you to be diligent and faithful in the work He has given you, with a sincere longing for holiness, and that your decisions and actions in business will be according to His will.

We bring your business before the Lord. We ask for wisdom and understanding and for blessing that honors God, that the goods you offer would serve your customers well and be a provision for you, all for His glory. We pray for good judgment and business acumen used rightly, for protection from deceptive customers and from unfair competition, and for wisdom in dealing with tax officials and audits. We pray for the difficulty with your supplier, that God would give you clear direction on what to do, and for the matter of invoices, that what is real and legal would be provided with integrity. We pray for protection over you, your family, your work and your property from every person and every unclean spirit that would mean harm. Scripture shows us that Jesus has authority over the physical realm to heal sickness and over the spiritual realm to command evil powers and they obey Him, and we ask for His powerful protection and for Him to thwart every harmful intent. We also lift up the new business idea you believe may be from the Lord, asking that if it is from Him He will confirm it clearly and help you to carry it out for His glory, and that He will provide your daily work and sustenance.

We also pray for your body, for your teeth especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the growths on the upper left thigh and on the abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract, asking for complete healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

As we pray for healing we want to do so with biblical balance. The Gospel of Matthew, writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, tells how in the evening at Peter's house many sick and oppressed people were brought to Jesus and He healed them, and Matthew connects this to the prophecy of Isaiah, surely He has borne our griefs, where the word for griefs means infirmities, showing that the suffering of Christ includes provision for physical healing as well as spiritual healing. When we share communion we remember His body broken for us. At the same time Scripture does not teach us to presume that God wills healing in every case. Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord did not remove it. The apostle Paul also teaches that the body has many members and asks, do all have gifts of healing, and the expected answer is no. God still heals and we believe healing is for today and that God is able, but we do not understand why some are healed and others are not, and we do not whip people into frenzies or treat healing as a show. Jesus often told those He healed not to tell others, but to go quietly and give testimony in the proper way.

We believe there are many kinds of healing and that any healing process is from God. He has established healing processes within our bodies and they are no less divine because they work through natural means, for He created nature itself. Sometimes healing is immediate and sometimes it is gradual, as when Jesus healed a blind man in stages, the only recorded gradual healing in His ministry. We pray for your healing whether it comes at once or step by step, and we trust the Lord's wisdom and love in how He answers. We also remember that there is a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote his wish for Gaius that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers. That is not a blanket promise to claim, but it reflects a true principle that the condition of the heart and mind affects the body, as the proverb says a merry heart does good like a medicine. Above all, while we ask for physical healing, we know the greater work is to be made whole spiritually. Many were healed physically but to be made whole is to be forgiven and brought into the family of God, which is eternal. We pray that whether healing comes quickly or slowly, you will experience His peace, His presence, and His restoration in spirit, mind and body, and that all will result in glory to God.

We stand with you asking the Father to work all things for good according to His perfect will, to give you clear signs and guidance, and to keep you in His care. May He strengthen your faith, guard your health, prosper the work of your hands as He sees fit, and make your life and ministry fruitful for His Kingdom. In the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.
