We join you in lifting up your heartfelt requests before the throne of grace, knowing that our Heavenly Father delights in the prayers of His children who seek His will above all else. It is beautiful to see your desire to bring glory to God in every area of your lifeāyour ministry, your business, and your family. We are especially encouraged that you have invoked the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ in your prayers, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of God. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) and *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we stand with you in this confidence.
Your desire to use the gifts and talents God has given you for His Kingdom is a reflection of the good stewardship we are all called to. As Jesus taught in the Parable of the Talents, we are to faithfully invest what the Master has entrusted to us, that we may hear His words, *"Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord"* (Matthew 25:23, WEB). We pray that the Lord will open doors of opportunity for you to serve Him with excellence, that your ministries may indeed be a joy to His heart and a light to those around you. May He grant you wisdom from above, which is *"first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17, WEB), so that every endeavor is rooted in holiness and love.
In your business, we recognize the challenges you faceāsuppliers, competition, financial pressures, and the need for godly wisdom in decision-making. The Scriptures remind us that *"unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB), and so we ask that He would be the foundation of your work. The Lord is your provider, and He has promised, *"Seek first Godās Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We pray that He will grant you favor with honest suppliers and customers, that your goods may be a blessing to those who purchase them, and that your business may thrive not for selfish gain but for the advancement of His Kingdom. May He protect you from deceitful practices and unjust competition, and give you discernment to navigate financial matters with integrity. We also ask that the Lord would guard your heart against the love of money, for *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB), and instead fill you with contentment in Him, knowing that *"godliness with contentment is great gain"* (1 Timothy 6:6, WEB).
Your request for protection from unkind tax officials and audits is one we bring before the Lord with urgency. We know that He is the one who establishes authorities, and we ask that He would either turn their hearts toward fairness or shield you from their unjust actions. As the psalmist declares, *"No king is saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power. Behold, the Lordās eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness"* (Psalm 33:16-18, WEB). May the Lord be your shield and defender in these matters, and may He expose any corruption or dishonesty that seeks to harm you.
Regarding your supplier issues, we pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom to know how to proceedāwhether through negotiation, finding alternative sources, or trusting Him to intervene supernaturally. If there are those who seek to take advantage of you or act in bad faith, we ask that the Lord would frustrate their plans and vindicate you. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB), and we trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. We also pray for protection over your family and property, that no weapon formed against you would prosper, and that the Lord would rebuke any unclean spirits or individuals who seek to bring harm. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, āHe is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trustā"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB).
We are struck by your request concerning the invoices for your goods, particularly that their financial value would be as high as possible. While we understand the desire for fairness and just compensation, we must gently remind you that our primary focus should not be on maximizing profit but on trusting the Lordās provision and maintaining integrity in all dealings. Jesus warns us, *"Donāt lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves donāt break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:19-21, WEB). We pray that the Lord would give you a heart that seeks His Kingdom first, and that He would provide for your needs in ways that bring Him glory. If there has been any dishonesty or manipulation in financial mattersāwhether on your part or othersāāwe ask that the Lord would convict and correct it, for *"the Lord detests differing weights, and dishonest scales are not pleasing"* (Proverbs 20:23, WEB).
Finally, we rejoice in your desire for the Lord to turn everything around for your good. This is a promise we can claim with confidence, for *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). However, we must remember that "good" in Godās eyes is not always what we might expectāit is often the refining of our character, the deepening of our faith, and the alignment of our will with His. We pray that through these trials, you would grow in dependence on Him and in likeness to Christ, who *"though he was rich, yet for your sakes became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich"* (2 Corinthians 8:9, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the faith and devotion of Your servant who seeks Your glory in all things. Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them to serve You with the gifts and talents You have entrusted to them. May their ministries be a fragrant offering to You, bringing joy to Your heart and drawing others closer to You. Grant them wisdom from above, that they may walk in holiness and make decisions that honor You in every area of their life.
We lift up their business to You, Lord, asking that You would be the foundation and the cornerstone. Provide honest suppliers, faithful customers, and protect them from deceit and unfair competition. Give them discernment in financial matters, and may their business be a testament to Your faithfulness. We pray for protection over their family and property, that no harm would come near them, and that You would rebuke any unclean spirits or individuals who seek to bring destruction. Lord, if there has been any wrongdoing in financial dealings, we ask that You would bring conviction and correction, that all things may be done with integrity and transparency.
Father, we ask that You would turn every challenge into an opportunity for growth and for Your glory. May Your servant trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding, but acknowledging You in all their ways, that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We pray for their supplier issues, that You would provide clear guidance and a resolution that reflects Your justice and mercy. Protect them from unkind tax officials and audits, and may Your favor rest upon them in every interaction.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that their heart would remain fixed on You, that they would seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all they need. May they find their satisfaction in You alone, and may their life be a living testimony of Your goodness and grace.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Provider, our Protector, and our Peace. Amen.
