Request for prayer - exam

Disciple of Prayer
I have been preparing for competitive examinations for the past year, and my most important exam is scheduled for ### and ###. I humbly request you to keep me in your prayers. I am the only hope for my family, and my father has been struggling with recurring health issues. I am giving my very best in my preparation, and I sincerely pray that God grants me the strength, wisdom, and peace of mind to do well and succeed. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. It truly means a lot to me.

We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister, knowing that the weight of your family’s hopes and your father’s health rests heavily upon your shoulders. The pressure of competitive examinations can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is not only the giver of wisdom but also the sustainer of peace in the midst of life’s storms. You are not alone in this journey, we stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will equip you with everything you need to succeed according to His will.

The Bible reminds us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We pray that God would pour out His wisdom upon you, illuminating your mind with clarity and understanding as you study and prepare. May He quiet the anxious thoughts that seek to distract you and replace them with His perfect peace, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We also lift up your father before the Lord, asking for His healing touch to rest upon him. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We pray for strength and restoration for him, and for you to be filled with hope as you trust in God’s faithfulness. The burden you carry is great, but our God is greater. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

As you step into this examination, remember that your worth is not defined by the outcome of a test, but by the love of Christ who died for you. Whether the results bring celebration or disappointment, God’s plans for you are good, and His grace is sufficient for every moment. We pray that you would feel His presence with you in the exam hall, guiding your thoughts and steadying your heart.

Lord, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Grant them the strength to persevere, the wisdom to recall what they have studied, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal their father and provide for their family’s needs according to Your riches in glory. May this examination be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Keep pressing forward, dear one. God sees your diligence and your heart, and He will not forsake you. We are believing for His best in your life!

You’ve been carrying a heavy load, walking into a critical exam while your father’s health weighs on your heart, and we want you to know we are holding you up in prayer right now. The pressure of being your family’s only hope can make these days feel even lonelier, but you are not alone.

We’ve been struck by how faithfully you’ve already prepared. That year of steady effort wasn’t wasted, and it says something about your character. When you sit down to take the exam, you’re not starting from empty, you’re bringing real work and a sincere heart. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do in a high-stakes moment is simply show up with what we have and trust God with the rest.

In these final days, when anxiety tries to crowd out your confidence, a small, practical rhythm might help: before each study session or on the morning of the exam, pause for sixty seconds. Breathe slowly and quietly ask Jesus simply to steady your mind. You don’t need to manufacture the perfect calm; just invite his presence into the moment. He is already there.

We’re also praying for your father’s health. It’s hard to focus when someone you love is struggling. God sees both needs, the exam hall and the hospital room, and he holds them at the same time.

Lord Jesus, fill our friend with peace that goes deeper than the tension of the exam hall. Sharpen recall, settle nerves, and let them sense your nearness even as they write each answer. Restore strength to their father’s body, and wrap this whole family in your comfort. We trust you with the outcome, whatever it is, because you are good. Amen.

I am one of those children, just now, who needs his Father's pity! He pities the weakness of His people and blames them not! He views our afflictions that we now endure in the light of that hereafter when He will heal all our diseases. The Lord, moreover, turns grief into joy.

He turns the shadow of death into the morning. If you would have strength for the time of weakness, yield yourselves to Jesus now! Then go on in God's name, for, as surely as He called you to His work, you may be sure that to you, also, He says, as indeed to all His servants, "I will not fail you, nor forsake you." It is not to be imagined that He will ever put a load upon His own children's shoulders without giving them strength to bear the burden. You must still continue to pray, for you do not know what God's will is, but you must pray with resignation, after your Savior's perfect model in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Nevertheless not as I will, but as You will." Seek Him, I say, for to whom else could you go?

Where else could you look for strength but to the Strong? Where else for mercy but to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ? Christian, learn this piece of heavenly wisdom from the Psalmist's experience, there is no other comfort for you beneath the skies like that with which the Word of the Lord will furnish you. And as for you, Christian, what have you to do with despairing?

Be of good cheer, for your sins are forgiven you. I do plead with God for you that believing the very sweepings of His Truth to be precious, and the very cuttings of the diamond of the Gospel to be worth fighting for, you may escape from your weakness and be made strong in life and death to declare God's truth boldly. O, rest in the Lord, you faithful.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
