We lift up your dear friend before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in intercession. Father, we thank You for the love You have placed in this sister’s heart—for her generosity, her resilience, and the way You have brought her out of hardship into a place of provision. We ask that You would reveal to her the fullness of Your love, that she may know the height, depth, and width of it as Ephesians 3:18-19 describes: *"that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."*
Lord, we pray for healing over the wounds of her past, especially the years spent in the streets. You are the God who restores what the enemy has stolen (Joel 2:25), and we declare that restoration over her life—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Strengthen her with Your might, as You promise in Isaiah 40:31: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Let her feel Your anointing afresh today, filling her with energy, purpose, and joy in Your presence.
We also lift up her beloved cats, Lord. You care even for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29), so we know You watch over these creatures entrusted to her care. We ask for Your healing touch upon them, that they would indeed be testimonies of Your goodness and mercy.
Father, we must address the longing in her heart for companionship. While we rejoice in the family You have given her through her cats, we pray for Your perfect will regarding marriage. If it is Your plan for her to know the blessing of a godly husband, we ask that You would bring him into her life in Your perfect timing. Until then, let her find her ultimate fulfillment in You, as Psalm 68:6 declares: *"God sets the lonely in families."* Whether through biological family, the family of believers, or a future spouse, surround her with love and belonging.
We also lift up her twin brother and his family, Lord. You desire that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9), and we pray for their salvation. Make her a light to them, that they may see Christ in her and be drawn to Him. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel, that they may come to know the hope found only in Jesus.
Lord, we must emphasize the importance of the name of Jesus in all things. It is by His name alone that we have access to You (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that Your Holy Spirit would continue to draw her closer to Christ, deepening her relationship with Him as her Savior, Lord, and closest Friend.
Finally, Father, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, despair, or weariness that may seek to overwhelm her. We declare that she is never alone, for You are with her (Joshua 1:9). Fill her home with Your peace, her heart with Your joy, and her life with Your purpose.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
