I asked my girl to marry me and I gave her a ring, put it on her finger, and we went to ask her dad if she can marry me and dad says yes. She said yes. But it's been more than a month and I haven't seen her since.

We must remember that engagement is a promise and should be taken seriously, Let us not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth 1 John 3:18 (WEB).
We also want to ensure that your relationship is built on a strong spiritual foundation. It is crucial that you both share a strong faith in Jesus Christ, as He is the cornerstone of any godly marriage. As it is written, For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11 (WEB). If your fiancée has not mentioned her faith in Jesus Christ, we strongly encourage you to discuss this with her and pray together. If you are uncertain about her faith you must not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB). If your fiancée is not born again, you should call off the engagement until she is.

We come before You, lifting up this brother and his fiancée. We thank You for the blessing of their engagement and for the father's consent. However, Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in this situation. May Your will be done in their lives and in their relationship.
Father, if there are any obstacles or hindrances in their path to marriage, we pray that You would reveal them and guide them through. Help them to communicate openly and honestly with each other, and to seek Your face together.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. May they both be deeply rooted in their faith in Jesus Christ, and may their relationship be a testimony of Your love and grace. If they are unequally yoked, may the Holy Spirit convict them.
